TRIAL SECURED. 🇺🇸✈️🇪🇸✈️🇸🇰

A few months ago, Marcos Sotarello joined the RicFit Academy with one goal:

Get back into professional football.

He had already played professionally in the United States, but after returning to Spain, he found himself playing in the sixth tier.

Instead of accepting that as his level, he committed to changing it.

Over the past few months, Marcos immersed himself in the RicFit system.

A personalised gym programme built for his position.

Individual nutrition guidance.

Weekly coaching and accountability.

Tactical education.

Recovery planning.

A structured roadmap designed to prepare him for professional football; not just physically, but mentally and professionally.

The biggest change wasn’t just in his football.

It was in his mindset.

Marcos described it best himself:

“I felt a change in mentality; just really becoming obsessed with the process.”

That process didn’t produce an opportunity in Spain.

So we kept working.

No panic.

No shortcuts.

Now that persistence has opened the next door.

Marcos is heading to Slovakia for a professional trial.

This is what RicFit Academy is about.

Not chasing random trials.

Building players who become ready for them.

Every gym session.

Every nutrition adjustment.

Every tactical lesson.

Every weekly review.

Every conversation.

All of it is designed to give our players the best possible chance when the right opportunity arrives.

Our own client research shows that personalised gym plans, mindset development, structure, and the network are consistently the parts players value most because they create daily progress; not just hope.

Marcos has earned this opportunity.

Now it’s time to prove he belongs.

Open trials keep players stuck for a reason.

Only a tiny percentage of players who attend already have professional minutes. Everyone else is unproven. That alone tells you how clubs look at these environments.

Clubs are not there to evaluate potential. They are there to filter risk. When you pay to attend, you remove risk for them and carry all of it yourself.

Players with real market value are never at open trials. They are already tracked. Already listed. Already discussed inside networks clubs trust.

This is not personal. It is economics. Clubs survive by choosing certainty over hope.

If you are still paying to be seen, you are not in the market yet. You are outside of it, trying to buy attention instead of earning leverage.

The solution is not another trial. It is positioning. Minutes. Context. Network.

That is exactly why RicFit exists. To move players from hopeful to investable.
