Congratulations on an amazing command! They say that people come into our lives for reasons we may never fully understand. From our occasional greetings on campus at UL Lafayette to that unexpected heartfelt conversation in Kuwait (where we discovered we actually knew each other before😂), our journey has been filled with moments I’ll cherish forever. You became more than just a commander; you became a mentor and a friend.

That unforgetable late-night ride home🙏🏽🫨, an unforgettable Zydeco brunch, and the honor of standing by your side as your “First Sergeant” during annual training—all these experiences and many more have shaped our bond as part of the #ArmyFamily. And who could forget our spontaneous trip to Essence 2024, a memory I’ll always treasure (the so-so night and the good night “the mics were on”).

I thank the heavens above for bringing us together and I thank you for everything. Congratulations on your successful command at Golf Company 199th BSB. Here’s to your future endeavors—may they be as fulfilling and remarkable as the moments we’ve shared. 🫡🇺🇸⛳️🏌️‍♂️🐊💐
