Whole Heart Health knows that joy is contagious, and joy is at the root of health. That’s why whether we’re swapping books, packing Manna Meals, moving our bodies, or simply gathering together, we’re doing it together.

Q4 is shaping up to be such a fun end to the year, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Follow along for all the events, ways to get involved, and plenty of joy along the way. ❤️

Whole Heart Health was never meant to stay in Greater Baton Rouge. Our work may have started in schools and service pantries here, but the goal has always been to create things that can be picked up, carried somewhere else, and made their own.

This week, we got to see that happen in Starkville. 🤍

We spent the day with the @msstate_sigmaalpha chapter at Mississippi State University, where service is a huge part of what they do. These women built 50 Manna Meal bags, but even more exciting, we started dreaming together about what Whole Heart Health could look like in Starkville. And THAT is the stuff.

During the government shutdown, our Manna Meal recipes were being used by people across the country to pack meals for their neighbors. We’ve had the opportunity to travel and work alongside teams outside of our own backyard. And now we’re talking about how some of our programs and little tools could take root in an entirely new community. Because the point was never for everyone to come to us. The point was to give people something they could take with them.

Honor your body.
Love your neighbor.
Feed them both.

Three simple things. No zip code required.

We want people to realize that caring for your neighbor doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like 50 meal bags on a college campus. Sometimes it’s a pantry in your neighborhood. Sometimes it’s a recipe shared across the country. Sometimes it’s a conversation that starts with, “What would this look like here?”

Starkville, we’re so excited about what could grow here. The ripple keeps getting bigger. And honestly? We’re just getting started.

Sometimes generosity shows up in the most beautiful ways.

The Sigma Alpha chapter at Mississippi State University recently collected blankets, treats, and small gifts to share with families in our community, simply to spread joy.

This was all delivered to us by Whittney Boley, a graduate of Walker High School and on her way to being the best vet! We love seeing her heart for this community and the way she shared that love with her sorority.

This Easter season, Whole Heart Health will be turning those donations into Easter baskets for children. Each basket will have a handwritten note thanks to these amazing women too!

While a good meal during the holidays is important, we also want children to know they can live expectant of joy, grace, and love.

During the last week of March, volunteers will be filling baskets and distributing them through local food pantries and the Baton Rouge community fridges. Each basket will include a handwritten note, and every donated item will be shared.

Moments like this remind us that the world is full of generous, compassionate people. What a beautiful way to celebrate a season rooted in love, redemption, and hope.

This weekend five of our girls attended Sigma Alpha’s Ignite Leadership Conference in Denver, CO! 🏔️We deepened our understanding of the Pillars- Leadership, Fellowship, Scholarship, and Service, along with the essential elements that guide us and our chapter. 🤍✨

We also had the best time participating in engaging group events and projects with sisters from across the country, building connections that will last a lifetime.💫 #leadershipconference #sisterhood
