🌿 What if the future looks different when we learn from the wisdom of the past?

In El Alberto, a Hñähñu community in Mexico’s Mezquital Valley, community members have built and operate their own ecotourism initiative, creating opportunities rooted in collective work and their relationship with the territory.

This spring, join us in the Mezquital Valley to learn alongside Hñähñu communities, explore Indigenous perspectives, and imagine brighter futures grounded in millennia-old knowledge and traditions.

Come discover a place. Leave with a broader perspective.

🌵 What can we learn from an Indigenous community building its own vision for the future?

Elder Hilario Cerroblanco invites us to come visit Goshti, a cooperative enterprise owned by the Hñähñu community of Puerto Dexthi. At Goshti, the community expanded economic opportunities by transforming lechuguilla agave into high-quality handmade brushes.

The community of Puerto Dexthi has woven the restoration of communal lands, Hñähñu traditions, and community-led enterprise into a powerful example of how Indigenous communities draw on their own knowledge, resources, and collective vision to shape their futures.

🌱 Join us this spring to learn alongside Hñähñu communities, meet community leaders, and explore how communities are shaping their future while keeping tradition alive.
