Wow.
The past week with my team, and then at our Summer Intensive, has left me feeling incredibly fulfilled.

I love dance so much. If you know me, then you know how deeply I care. I care about the details, the people, the process, the experience—everything. Watching the culture we’ve spent the last 15 years building come to life, especially during our Summer Intensive, has been one of those moments that makes you stop and realize just how special something has become.

I’m so proud of the culture within our team. I’m proud of the trust we’ve built with one another. And I can tell my team is proud of me, too. I see it in the way they listen when I’m speaking. I see it in the way they receive feedback with humility and work relentlessly to apply it. I see it in the pride they carry when they talk about our team and what we stand for. (Continued on the next slides..)

I’m grateful that we’ve never tried to be anyone else. I truly believe the way we do things at Texas Tech is different—not because we’re perfect, but because we choose to invest in one another, hold each other accountable, and create an environment where excellence and genuine care can exist at the same time.

What we have is rare. And I never want to become so accustomed to it that I stop appreciating it.

I’m leaving this week with a full heart—overwhelmed with gratitude, humbled by the people I get to do this with, and reminded that this is exactly where I’m meant to be.

To everyone who attended our Summer Intensive, thank you for trusting us with your time, your energy, and your willingness to grow. I hope you felt seen. I hope you felt celebrated. I hope you learned something that stays with you long after this week. And most of all, I hope you left feeling inspired—not just to become a better dancer, but to become an even better version of yourself.

And to my team... thank you. Thank you for showing up for each other, for believing in what we’re building, and for proving, year after year, that the work is never done. There will always be another standard to raise, another goal to chase, another opportunity to grow. But you’ve also reminded me that joy belongs in the process—that it’s possibl

Meet your 2026 Men’s Basketball Champions 💙🏀

As an athletic training student with this team, I feel so beyond blessed to have been a part of it all. These guys are truly some of the kindest, funniest, and most incredible athletes I’ve ever been around. It’s kind of crazy to think I started with them in December, and now there won’t be another practice with this same family all together.

Being in the training room, at games, and practices with them has meant everything to me. These guys deserve everything they’ve earned this season, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. I don’t even know if I’m crying because of how much they’ve accomplished, or because I’m really going to miss this amazing group of people so much.

These are athletes I will support forever. Go Blue.
