$2,500 is up for grabs, Blue Raiders! 🚨

We crowned our first Blue Zoo Scholarship winner. Now it’s time to do it all over again.

One student will get the chance to step onto the field and throw for $2,500 at the October 28 home game. 💸🏈

Here’s how to win:
1️⃣ Arrive Early: Scan your Blue ID upon entry to the stadium by the end of the 1st Quarter to enter the drawing.
2️⃣ Stay to Win: At the start of the 4th Quarter, we’ll announce the winner on the video board. Make sure you’re still in the Student Section when your name is called! ⏰
3️⃣ Take Your Shot: The selected student gets one attempt to throw a football 10 yards through the uprights. 🏈🎯

Click the link in @mtbluezoo’s bio for the official contest rules!

Be in Floyd Stadium, scan in early, and stay in your seats. Let’s pack the Blue Zoo! 🔵⚡

Mahjong Connections: MTSU Alumni Get the Hang of the Game!💙🖤💙

Follow-up Guided Play with the MTSU alumni last night left me feeling so grateful for this Mahjong and MTSU community. It was wonderful to see so many players really start to understand the game and watch everything begin to click. I just love these people—and I’ve made some wonderful new friends along the way.

My favorite moment came at the end of the night, when everyone started exchanging numbers so they could get together and play again. That’s what it’s all about: finding your people, sharing some laughs, and making plans for the next game. 💙

Our students and faculty represented the MTSU Information Systems and Analytics department at the 2026 PMI Nashville Symposium on August 28!

Department Chair Dr. Tim Greer attended alongside faculty members Dr. Melinda Korzaan and Dr. Richard Tarpey, as well as students Dakota Myers, Stan Laws, Rotimi Omotosho, Hunter Greer, and Kam McCullough. It was also great to connect with alum Hsing Liu at the event!

Celebrating 30 years of the PMI Nashville Chapter, this year’s symposium focused on “The Next 30: Upskill. Adapt. Accelerate.” Attendees heard from industry professionals on topics including project management, AI adoption, leadership, risk, and professional development.

Dr. Richard Tarpey also joined Trevor Lovegrove for a session highlighting PMI Nashville’s professional development pathways.

Thank you to the PMI Nashville Chapter for providing an opportunity for our students and faculty to connect, learn, and engage with the project management community!
