POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

He freaking did it!!! I’m so proud! Yesterday, Devin was surprised with a Varsity letter for Trappmasters—and I just have to share a little bit.

Our lives have been incredibly hard the past three years, and Devin has overcome so much. He’s never been the cookie-cutter kid. He’s always hated school and even begged me during his sophomore year to let him get his GED instead. But he stuck with it. He finished.

And when it comes to the real world? I have no doubt—he’s going to thrive. I don’t know a more driven kid. He’s going to find a way to succeed, no matter what. As a senior, he even opened his own business: @summitshinekc .

If you know us, you know Devin has been obsessed with law enforcement since he was two years old—driving around in his little police charger. Over the past three years, he’s done countless ride-alongs, and I truly believe something in that world is in his future.

School was a hurdle—not because he couldn’t do it, but because he was made to fly. Holding him down just long enough to finish that last step was hard. But he did it.

Now go soar, baby—the sky is the limit.
Crying proud momma tears this morning!

lol send this kid some moola lol! He earned it! That’s for sure! Schoooooooooools out foooooorever!!

My forever Valentine baby is 18!!! 😭😭😭😭😍😍😍
Gosh!! Such a roller coaster. 18years ago, my heart, and world was forever changed! I never knew what unconditional love was until I looked in his eyes. I never knew you could love someone so much you just met! Devin having you so young saved my life! I just knew I had to do better, be better for you. It has been such a joy and challenge 🫣! These past couple years have been so hard! I hope you continue to get back up after every mistake and fall. Keep rising, keep grinding and keep fighting! Life isn’t about being perfect, it’s about learning, growing, and moving forward! I love you son!!! Happy 18th birthday!

Bike Fest 2023 is a wrap! Saw new and old people, reconnected with folks I haven’t seen in too long, went fast, took chances and came away with a sense of accomplishment and progression AND did it all with my homies.. Good job today everyone, great job Bike Fest Crew. Cannot wait to do it again next year!
