Currently on @the_greatest_trade_up I am looking to trade an @apple 2013 MacBook Air, a set of S2 MK3 @nativeinstruments DJ controllers and I have even thrown in an @ableton 11 into license.

The end goal is to have an @volkswagen @volkswagen_uk Crafter Campervan.

Let’s relieve you of unwanted unloved items and set you off on a musical adventure.

Shout out to local legend @mtb_vans

The Greatest Trade-Up — 1 Month In 🚐
One month ago, I started with a toy Batmobile and a slightly ridiculous idea: trade my way to a VW Campervan without simply buying one.
One month in, the challenge is becoming about much more than the things I’m trading.
It’s about creativity, conversations, value, patience and finding out what happens when money isn’t the answer.
There have been trades, near misses, plenty of ideas, and a lot of lessons along the way.
11 months left. One trade at a time.
The question now isn’t just what will I end up with?
It’s what will I learn along the way?

**The Greatest Trade-Up 🚐**

Starting with a toy Batmobile, I’m attempting to trade my way to a VW Campervan by 1st August 2027.

But the campervan is only part of the experiment.

I’m interested in what happens when you take money out of the equation and have to rely on creativity, skills, conversations, relationships and a willingness to think differently.

Along the way I’m documenting the trades, the people I meet, the things I learn, the near misses and the inevitable moments when absolutely nothing happens.

It’s an experiment in **value, patience, creativity and the idea that progress doesn’t always have to be bought.**

One toy car.
One year.
One trade at a time.

**The question isn’t just what will I end up with.
It’s who will I become along the way?**

This challenge has taken over my entire brain……I need to hyperfocus less and start looking at other elements of the overall new 5 year plan.

The Campervan is a giant piece of the puzzle but attaining it in this method is all part of the fun.

I have other massive challenges set, like getting a visa to live in @spain, taking both my barbering skills and psychology degree to learn Spanish fluently.

So as much as the quest to trade up from the Batmobile to a Mobile home is fun, i need to focus on other elements.

Although that’s not quite as fun for content purposes.
