THE WALNUT CLUB BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! ✨🥂 What an incredible night! 💛 This past Friday, we gathered at The Wine Garden to celebrate The Walnut Club’s 11th birthday, toast to our growing community, and make a meaningful impact together. A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening so special! We officially SOLD OUT and surpassed 70 members — such an exciting milestone for our growing community! 🥂✨ A special thank-you to our president, Jenn Nagel, for her leadership and for bringing us together for such a memorable celebration. And a big shoutout to Jacqueline Pirtle, our Event Board Chair, for all the hard work, thought, and care she put into making this event happen! ❤️ We’re also grateful to the rest of our board for the time and support they contribute to making The Walnut Club such a special community. Thank you to The Wine Garden for hosting us for a wonderful evening of wine, charcuterie, cake, and a special wine demonstration. 🍷 One of the most meaningful highlights of the evening was our first-ever silent auction, benefiting Make the Distinction (MTD) and its programming for young women. Together, we raised $745, and with Jenn’s generous personal contribution of $55, brought the total to $800 toward a program that costs approximately $1,000! 💛 👏 A huge thank-you to Kim for organizing our first silent auction, to IntePros for their generous $200 donation, and to everyone who participated and helped make this possible. Congratulations to our auction winners, Liv and Emily! We’re proud to support Make the Distinction, whose work empowers young women and helps them build brighter futures. ✨ Learn more about their mission at www.makethedistinction.org. From celebrating another year of Walnut to growing our membership and giving back to a meaningful cause, this night was a beautiful reminder of what happens when an incredible community comes together. Here’s to another year of connection, collaboration, celebration, and making a difference! 🥂💛 #TheWalnutClub #WomenSupportingWomen #MakeTheDistinction #CommunityAndConnection #WomenInBusiness

💜 THE LEGACY CONTINUES: NEARLY $40,000 IN LEGACY CONTRIBUTIONS After 11 years, we may be closing our organizational doors, but we’re choosing to leave with our hands open—sowing into work that can continue to edify, empower, and equip others to win. We’ve been intentional about ensuring responsible stewardship of the dollars donated to our organization for the mission of strengthening the mental wellbeing, resilience and economic position of women and girls. In our attempt to leave the community better than we found it, our Board of Directors has decided to allocate I Choose To Win’s remaining assets, nearly $40,000, as legacy charitable contributions to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations whose missions and audiences align with the work we’ve championed for 11 years. Here are our Legacy Contribution Award recipients: 💜 Black Girls Love Math @blackgirlslovemath 💜 Make The Distinction, Inc @mtdistinction 💜 Hey Girl! Fund @theheygirlfund 💜 we REIGN Inc. @we.reign 💜 Mom Your Business, Inc. @momyourbusiness 💜 The Donte Wylie Foundation @the_donte_wylie_foundation 💜 Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) @ucacdeltas 💜 Lighthouse Family Youth Agency @lfya_up While these organizations have been identified to each receive a generous financial gift, the contributions have not yet disbursed. Distribution will occur once the Court of Common Pleas approves I Choose To Win’s dissolution plan. We’re sharing this now because we believe legacy is worth celebrating while it’s being built. The work continues. The legacy lives on. These organizations represent the kind of work we believe deserves to continue. So, don’t just celebrate them with us—follow them, learn about their work, support them, and share their missions with someone who needs to know about them.💜 #IChooseToWin #LegacyContributionAwards

IN LIFE, I WIN! — A Legacy of Possibility 💜 What happens when the odds are stacked against you—and you choose to build anyway? Through our In Life, I WIN! campaign, made possible by the Dr. Frank E. Boston’s Black Justice Fund at HealthSpark Foundation, we amplified the voices and lived experiences of BIPOC women business owners in Montgomery County. They shared the real stories behind their businesses: the challenges, the pivots, the perseverance, and the wins. Because entrepreneurship isn't always a straight line. Sometimes choosing to win looks like protecting your well-being, finding a creative way forward, making a new choice, and taking the next step when giving up would be easier. These WINNERS reminded us that economic independence can be an act of courage—and resilience can become a blueprint for possibility. As we reflect on the legacy of I Choose To Win, we invite you to consider: What have you built in spite of the odds? And what wisdom from your journey might help someone else choose to keep going? 🎥 Need a little motivation? The In Life, I WIN! videos are available on our website so you can hear their stories, be inspired by their journeys, and remember what's possible when you choose to keep going. 💜 Remember: your story may be someone else's permission to believe, begin, or build. #IChooseToWin #InLifeIWin #ChooseToWin
