Did that black bear just try to come up my tree?! 😳🐻 What a crazy turn of events hunting in Kentucky. I watched this bear coming through the woods thinking he was just going to pass on by… until he changed directions, came straight to my tree, and decided he wanted to see what was going on up there. No gun. No way to defend myself. Just me sitting in a tree wondering what his next move was going to be. 😂 Definitely got the heart pumping! Hopefully this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, because I’m not sure I need round two! 😂🐻 Just another reminder—you never know what you’re going to experience when you’re in the woods. This is why I love hunting. #KentuckyHunting #BlackBear #Bowhunting #WhitetailHunting #HuntingAdventures

Early season whitetails mean heat, long walks, and staying mobile, so having the right setup makes a huge difference. In this video, I’m breaking down my early season ASIO setup and showing the exact pieces I like to run when the temperatures are still high. I go through each piece, why I choose it, how I use it, and what it brings to my setup in the field. For me, early season is all about keeping things lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and functional without carrying or wearing more than I need. ASIO has become a huge part of that system for me, and these are the pieces I’ve found work best for the way I hunt. Season is here. Time to put all that offseason work to use. 🦌🏹 #ASIOGear #WhitetailHunting #EarlySeason #Bowhunting #DeerHunting

I’m still in awe over this hunt. I’m in awe over how God has moved in my life the past few years, and looking back on it, it’s obvious where He put me and who He put in my life. I believe everything happens for a reason. Every person we meet, every decision we make, everything we do, we have a decision to make. We can either glorify God or glorify our flesh. We can give all thanks and praise to Him, or be prideful. He gives us things to steward; talents, intelligence, relationships, possessions, etc. What we do with them shows where our heart lies. “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬ ‭

It’s important to surround yourself with other believers when you walk with Jesus. In our mens group chat, @jmac_bloodstained shared this verse this morning. It’s one of my favorite verses. Jesus invites us to live in him and we’ll bear fruit. He goes on to say when we bear fruit, we’ll be pruned to bear more. That’s not a cushy, easy life. He never promised we’d have a cake walk into eternity. But His burden is easy and His yoke is light and we have a peace that passes worldly understanding because we are fighting and working from victory. He did all the work on the cross. We are not saved by what we can do, but, as Paul says in Ephesians, by grace through faith in Jesus alone. Abide in Jesus, and see how He moves in your life.
