I introduce to you University City High Schools most winningest Varsity Baseball Team in School history !!!

We set a goal of winning CIF and pushed them even further with a goal of an undefeated season. These boys did just that and upped the ante by winning 18 straight games (12-0 in league) before an upset in the State Championship.

What an experience this year was!!! Two of the 18 straight wins being the most memorable games @petcopark and a phenomenal win @ucsdbsb to secure a CIF Title, the first since 2007.

I said it all winter long, this is a special team !!! The chemistry and the work ethic all balanced perfectly with tons of athleticism and a passion for the game that is second to none !!!

These boys single handedly changed the culture of UC baseball and had a blast while doing it !!! Way to go boys, I couldn’t be more proud to be called your coach !!!

What a year for the 2024 UC baseball team. Finishing 29-6, our team would lead the city league 12-0, and end up as 2024 CIF Champs and Runner up of state regionals. @mtorreschapa would end his historic season with 43 hits. @j_kaplan0 having a bomb at Petco Park and @jcoopclark pitching lights out all year. We had many accomplishments, historic moments and many memories. We want to thank fans, friends, and families who have supported us throughout the journey. We would also like to thank @giselleslens for the amazing photos and videos.
We are very excited for the future of UC baseball and as always, Go Centurions.
