Did it!

The last four years were long but filled with so much joy! I am extremely grateful for my time at Lee and for the ways the Lord has used this university to transform me and renew my mind. My days here have been full of exegesis papers, grading systematic theology exams, Reslife events, countless one-on-ones, Lee Discipleship meetings, tears, laughter, great friends, friends who are now family, and through all of it the Holy Spirit was shaping me into the person I am today. Today I am encouraged, equipped, and excited to continue serving the Lord and his people.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on!

I’m so thankful for Easter and what it represents. Jesus is risen! My family is a constant reminder to me of His redeeming and restoring power.

this will be my ego death -
leaving every tokened prize pain left.
let nothing live but some sediments
of every wall i was worshipping.
i’m found deep in the ground again,
a proud tree met with gardener’s hands.
it’s something strange to feel tall and then
his pruning acts as holy medicine.
thank you God for this ego death -
for, i thought you shamed my expectations.
within ground’s hiding i catch a breath
and let my heart die by your tenderness.

No words can even begin to describe the beauty of the North Slope. Everything part of this trip was covered with the Lord’s joy! Your faithful love endures forever and you continue to meet me in every place you plant my feet. In the chaos and the peace your presence remains evident. Thank you Jesus for the joy, for the tears, for the peace, for your light, and the opportunity to seek your presence and your light more and more. 🤍
