These casts, these beautiful people, these incredible actors who were eager to learn, to teach, to pour into each other, to give 100% of themselves: this is why we do it. Spelling Bee marked, in Rona’s words, “a triumphant return” for @cat_studios_ga after four years of dormancy and recalibration. It was everything I hoped it would be, and more. I love every single one of these people so dearly, and I cannot wait to see what we create together, next! Thank you for loving CATS like I do, and for being everything I had ever hoped this organization would exemplify. Big things are on the horizon, but I can’t imagine it ever getting more perfect than this.

🐝 Putnam County Spelling Bee 🐝

Collaboration is the word for this one definitely! Getting to work with such powerhouse actors and actresses, an amazing teen cast who has such strong vision for their own characters, and one of the most caring creative teams ive worked with so far. @mady_kat Has such a strong vision for this theatre company @cat_studios_ga and her love for the arts and the future generation is boldly embellished in her work. Nolan, “teen leaf” for lack of better words, has such a refreshing take on the character and has pushed me further into it than I probably have for him as the adult actor 😂 He knows his stuff and is, like me, particular about the small things. Talking details with him has been so fun. And lastly, this is the first show Ive gotten to costume for and wow, the appreciation it brings to that realm of the arts. Working meticulously with our artists on what their vision for themselves was and what would make our cast look reasonable was such a fun balancing act. From some Tie-dye action you’ll see in the ensemble, to some real nice Goodwill finds. This was fun! “Apple juice please” -🍁 🍦E🧸

The Improv in this show is so ridiculous…

The havoc and a gasp we all were!

Excuse me while I clean up the water I just spit out from breaking during the scene 😂 everyone stayed in character even through this… mishap
