MTTY - WANTED - ROLLY BUMP
VOL 3 [FTL006]

The next belated artist intro comes roughly a “short” 5 hour flight from here in Boorloo. mtty is a producer based out of Eora who sits somewhere in the proggy / tech house / garage leaning type sound.

mtty first caught my ears with his release on one of my favourite labels Terrazzo. This kickstarted my interest and with subsequent releases on some extremely respected labels such as R.A.N.D , X-Kalay and Mind Helmet, I think we can all agree he’s a very talented man! I’m buzzing to have him on board the label.

Wanted is a driving proggy / techy track and I cannot get enough of that punchy repeating melody. It has me aggressively flicking my wrist and two-stepping A LOT.

Go buy / stream (boo) / support in all the usual spots.

Shouts to Buttery Beats for the premiere which will soon land on their WIP Soundcloud site 🤝

More shouts to @clemseg for the spin on @gimic.radio

As a long-time resident DJ of Japan’s renowned summer festival rural, Nao has established herself as one of the key figures shaping Japan’s underground electronic music scene. Beyond her work as a DJ, she has also been active as a promoter, bringing distinctive international artists such as CUTHANDS and DOLPHINS INTO THE FUTURE to Japanese audiences.

Her sound navigates across a wide spectrum of genres, with techno at its core — characterized
by deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and a unique sense of flow that creates immersive experiences on the dancefloor.

She has performed across the globe, including at Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand, as well as in Hanoi, Taipei, Seoul, Berlin, New York, Colombia, and India. In 2024, she completed tours across Europe and the U.S., captivating audiences with her distinctive and atmospheric sets.

Her performances at acclaimed international venues such as Bassiani (Tbilisi), Ankali (Prague), Tresor (Berlin), and Basement (New York) have solidified her reputation as a truly global artist with a compelling and evolving sound.

Trae Bashford is a proud Aboriginal man from Kamilaroi and Yuin lands, now based in Ngunnawal Canberra. A familiar face around the city, he has earned his place and carved his own path through the scene, both as a solo artist and as part of Groove, Gratitude & Gouda, a collective known for fun, thoughtful nights in the nation’s capital.

He can play under any conditions, from a bright afternoon on the lawn to a dark room in the small hours, and he adapts to whatever the crowd gives him.His sets are built on restraint. A deep, heavy low end anchors everything, while the rhythms shift slowly and the percussion sits just off where you expect it. He leaves space in the music, and that space is where the tension builds, pulling the crowd in closer with every passing minute.

Zara (she/her) is an Australian-born London-based DJ, producer, and label owner. Her inner-world weaves together the sensibilities of warm emotion with darker introspection intended to make you lose yourself, and once the dust settles, find your way again. Her command of a dancefloor always carries a conscious consideration, to balance t
