MTXE IS ABOUT MORE THAN BASKETBALL.

We’re building a program designed to help young players become better athletes, better teammates, and better people.

Our focus goes beyond just showing up for games.

We want to teach:

🏀 Basketball IQ
🏀 Skill development
🏀 Toughness
🏀 Accountability
🏀 Discipline
🏀 Teamwork
🏀 How to compete the right way

We want players to understand the game, accept coaching, learn from mistakes, and continue developing every time they step on the floor.

The goal is not just to build a team for one season.

The goal is to build a foundation that helps prepare players for middle school, high school, and whatever level comes next.

MTXE
Development. Competition. Details.
Mental Toughness. Xtra Effort.

Finn Katzenberger — 6”3 Guard — Class of 2027 — MTXE Premier/Waupun High School (WI)

How do you not expect a player with a name like Finn Katzenberger to ball out whenever he gets on the court?! That’s exactly what Finn showed me with his physical ability especially in the paint. He’s built like a power forward but he has the quickness to get active on the wing. He likes to shoot but he loves to get busy in traffic and body his defenders up. He’s an exceptional rebounder and is money on the offensive glass. He’s got good range for a player with his mentality so when he gets an open look behind the three point line, you better put a hand in his face or suffer the consequences.

Rigg Waterman — 6”5 Guard/Forward — Class of 2027 — MTXE Premier/Catholic Memorial High School (WI)

Rigg Waterman is another big body who can play on either wing at the guard or forward position. He has loads of versatility which works well with his size and wingspan. He loves to show off his long range game but if he feels his shot is lacking, he will go into overdrive to create for his teammates or go and get a tough bucket in the lane. His size and athletic ability allows him to get away with taking more chances on both ends of the court. At the end of the day, he’s an all around player who is going to be a force to be reckoned with on the AAU Circuit.
