Doing a likkle ting with @mu.se_gallery in front of @aquariumgallery opening tonight 6-10 pm.

Making this mini installation brought me so much joy! I created a miniature version of one of my plant filled devotional spaces that center a wicker peacock chair, offering a space for rest and attunement.

This installation recreates a dream where I entered a void and found myself surrounded by 5 glowing pink orbs facing me like a choir. I believe this was a manifestation of my connection to the ancestors that have guided and protected me through the wavering journey of the past few years represented in the accompanying self portraits.

This was such a fun and fulfilling project and I thank @e.ray.ceramics and @brybrads with MU.SE and everyone at @aquariumgallery for all of the support !

Saturday is Game of Shrooms! Join this art and Seek scavenger hunt to score cool art!

@gameofshroomsofficial

The mushrooms are going into the kiln tonight for the final glaze fire. I now have to work Saturday morning and the area I was going to hide my 🍄 ornaments has a marathon happening.

So I'm gonna pivot and sometime Saturday somewhere in the 70115, I will be hiding them and posting clues. I'm on foot Saturday and hoping to be posting the clues to their locations by 12pm.

There are 9 other New Orleans artists participating. Spread across the city. Follow these amazing folks!
