POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We just wanted to celebrate the creativity and generosity of the people we were so lucky to meet on tour. We can’t thank you enough, and can’t express quite how touched we were to receive all this beautiful stuff!!! You’re all so sweet and so talented! I’ve tried to do a good job tagging you all but please pop in the comments if any of this was you as I don’t think I got all of your names! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

it's been a week and i still don't really have the words for last weekend. bears in trees gigs with my friends truly are my home and i am so grateful to have found this community.
i first found the band over four years ago when i was 16 and desperately needed something to give me hope and that's exactly what i got. they gave me hope that i could get better but they also gave me hope that i could find the kinds of friendships they sung about and oh my god have i found those. as much as i love bears in trees as a band and for their music my friends and the community are my biggest reason for going to their shows, it's truly incredible that yapping on the internet and putting myself out there at shows (something i've only been able to do by forcing myself to give out my silly little crafts) has led me to some of my most cherished friendships and a version of myself i never thought possible.
there were so many moments this tour that will stick with me forever that i could never list them all but reverberate circle at the back of the brighton evening show, crying into ellie, tesa and hudson more times than i can count and getting to watch both mars and louise experiencing their first ever BiT gigs are just a few.
i truly have grown into myself alongside this band and these people, songs have changed meanings for me both for better (screaming about how much i love my friends right into their faces) and worse (first time hearing push ups live after cutting contact with my secondary school ex who i thought i would be friends with forever) but probably the biggest change is that these were my first BiT gigs since starting t (final slide is a little voice update between pre-t and now). i have friends i've made through this band who have known me since before i even dropped my deadname to now and i truly wouldn't be where i am now without them and the support and acceptance they gave me long before i was ready to be this out in my day to day life (i will never forget ymas 2023 and getting consistently called a chosen name irl for the first time).
this is such a long and rambling caption but basically i love my friends i am so grateful that BiT bought us together <3
