April E-Committee Member Spotlight: Mya Williams

Meet Mya Williams, a rising third-year Environmental Science student from Tallahassee, FL, and a dedicated member of the NAACP for nearly one year! 🌱

Mya currently serves as our Health Co-Chair, where she supports initiatives that promote wellness and awareness across our chapter and campus community. 💚

Outside of the NAACP, Mya is a member of the Sustainability Club and even contributed as a model in this year’s Sustainability Fashion Show highlighting creativity and environmental consciousness. ♻️

While much of her impact extends beyond campus, Mya remains committed to service, growth, and making a difference in every space she enters.

Her passion for health, sustainability, and community engagement reflects the mission of the NAACP. We are proud to highlight Mya as a valued member of our Executive Committee! 🌟

Happy Independence Day to Senegal! 🇸🇳
Last fall, we had the incredible opportunity to host youth from Florida and Georgia in Senegal, and it was nothing short of amazing. We loved working with the Tallahassee Food Network to make this cultural exchange possible for students—what a powerful experience it was! Thanks to our on the ground guide @kingabdoulahadfall. Kudos to @khal4real for documenting our trip.
Here’s to celebrating culture, building global connections, and exploring the beauty of our environment together globally. 🌍✨
