Prospect Hill @mucklecc HC - 🥇- Equal CR - 3:24.5

Such an amazingly run event again by the muckle lot - also such a fun climb to ride, especially with the crazy crowds! I'm very happy with my ride as I managed my pacing well and got a few prs as well! Now it's time for the nationals... 🤩

UK hill climbs are something else! 🇬🇧😂

Full gas efforts, massive crowds, BMXs, Bromptons, tandems, fancy dress, dogs with signs… and a few more things you really don't expect to see at a bike race! 💀🎃

The hill might not be the steepest, but the effort is absolutely brutal. 🥵

The atmosphere at @mucklecc Prospect Hill Climb was unreal. The crowds were mint, and there was no hiding from giving it full beans...everything.

Big credit to Muckle CC, the volunteers and everyone who made it such a brilliant event. 👏

UK hill climb season at its best! 🚴‍♂️🔥 I'll be back next year 👊

🏆 North East Hill Climb Champ!

What a day on Prospect Hill! After months of planning it was amazing to see it all come together and be a success.

150 riders, packed supporters’ corners and an incredible atmosphere on the hill. Chuffed that I managed to put out a decent ride 🙂‍↕️

⚡ 3:50 | 458W | 7 W/kg

5th overall in a seriously stacked field, fastest North East rider and finally taking the NE overall title for the first time🥇

Massive thanks to everyone who made our 10th Prospect Hill such a special day. Still buzzing from it all!

One more to go next weekend - National Champs on Porlock Toll Road! 🔥

A cool weekend up North for @mucklecc 's unofficial northern nat champs on Prospect Hill. Hexham for nice food with @judithcwinters then Corbridge for the best hill climb vibes. @ezra_bateman outdid himself to take the win and match Tom Bell's course record of 3:24.5. I'm not quoting numbers but it was an insane w/kg effort 🤯
Plus beautiful views, very low key drug paraphernalia and a decomposing Austin Six

6.7 w/kg up Prospect Hill! 🔥🚴‍♂️..spot the error on the reel 😱

First time racing this climb. 4:25 and 2nd junior! 🥈
Overall, pleased with my effort.

Got to be the best hill climb event in the North East! 🙌 The crowds were mint, with so much support all the way up.

Massive thanks to @mucklecc for putting on such a brilliant event, all the volunteers and event sponsors, including @scottsportsuk. 👏

Big thanks as always to my sponsors @protechvelo, Steel and Alloy and DESCO for their continued support! 💜

Finished it off with a training ride home to get some extra volume in the legs. 🚴‍♂️😂

Leaving it all on the hill. ⛰️🔥

The big man @tomask83 dropping BIG watts on Prospect Hill at the @mucklecc Hill Climb.

💥 17th overall out of 150 riders

Full gas. Nothing left. 💪🚴

The legs turned up. The skinsuit gave up 😂

Much better sensations on Peth Bank after a frustrating Saturday at Wear Bank. 446 watts for 4:26 and a closer battle with Adrian, who took the win 👏

Snapped my skinsuit zip before the start, so winter kit it was. Not quite the optimum setup I’d planned 🙈

Thanks to @outlandsproject for a great morning of racing. Next stop, Prospect Hill!
