Holidays are made for making memories and spending time with your loved ones including your four legged friend. There is nothing quite like gathering round the table with friends or family with the sea as your backdrop. It is those simple moments of sharing a meal and catching up properly that make a trip away feel so special.

View our stays and book your next coastal trip through the link in our bio. A group of people sitting at a table on a patio overlooking a scenic harbor. The background features the waterfront town of Fowey with boats docked and houses lining the hillside. There is a lush plant on the table and a mostly cloudy sky.

🌊 Travel Tip Tuesday 🌊

Looking for somewhere good to eat in Penryn? Look no further than Muddy Beach. (@muddy_beach )

Nestled on the waterfront at Jubilee Wharf, this riverside café and bar offers stunning views across the Penryn River, creating the perfect setting for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or evening drinks. Their menu features everything from fresh seafood and tapas to hearty brunch favourites, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. Dogs are welcome, making it a great stop whether you’re exploring Cornwall with family, friends, or your four-legged companion.

The relaxed atmosphere, local ingredients, great coffee, and waterside location have made it a favourite with both locals and visitors alike. If you’re visiting the Falmouth and Penryn area, it’s definitely one to add to your list.

Have you been there? Let me know your favourite dish! ✈️💙

When the weather decided to take away the views, we had to change our plans! Instead of a coastal walk with gorgeous views, we decided to do some shopping! Bedroom furniture for the kids was the goal, watch to see how successful we were! We did manage a pit stop @cornish.yarg for some cheese and @muddy_beach for some lunch!
