After years of following each other on Instagram, I finally got to meet @muenchmax in person! 🥹 And look how beautifully these pictures turned out! Thank you @beautbeautt for helping us! Wearing traditional Thai dress from @onedaythai.co We took them at Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok, the very place where I spent the last few days learning traditional Thai massage. 🇹🇭✨ So happy we finally made it happen! 🫶🏼

Probably one of the coolest skills you can bring home from Thailand! 🇹🇭💆🏻‍♀️ 5 days of learning traditional Thai massage at the historic Wat Pho Massage School @watpochetawan in Bangkok, surrounded by amazing teachers and people from all over the world. 🤍 From learning a full-body massage routine to taking the final exam and earning a certificate, this was such a unique experience! And the best part? It’s a skill I can actually use for the rest of my life! ✨ Would you try this instead of a typical tourist activity? 👀 Cover picture by @muenchmax #WatPho #ThaiMassage #Bangkok #ThailandTravel #TravelExperiences

It was my first time setting foot in the Americas (I had been “stuck” in Asia for 3 years haha). Arriving in Martinique after 3 weeks at sea felt incredible, and I had the honor of making some amazing friends in the Dominican Republic before heading to Colombia for a motorbike trip and an unforgettable ranch adventure. Ecuador completely surprised me with its diversity. From dense jungles to tropical islands filled with fascinating wildlife and icy volcanic peaks, this small country had it all!! 🌎❤️ Somehow, this whole trip turned into one of those adventures where every place opened the door to something completely different. So many unexpected moments, incredible people and experiences I’ll probably still be processing for a while. It was only a tiny part of South America and the Caribbean, and I already know I want to come back next year to see much more of it. ❤️ I’m incredibly grateful to have Polarsteps along as a partner on this journey. Their support helps make adventures like these possible and allows me to share them with you all. 🫶 As always, I tracked the whole journey on @polarsteps, so you can follow the route and all the little stories along the way. Memories from Vietnam with my dear friend @muenchmax 🫂 You are an Incredible human with the rare ability to make everyone around you feel seen and appreciated - including animals. I am so happy to have you in my life. I will never forget the time spent in the middle of the ocean that looked like Pandora. 📸 & Edit: @muenchmax #vietnam #pandora #travelling #memoriesforlife #island

I finally understand what all the hype is about. 🥹 …and honestly, the Galápagos are SO worth it. Whether you’re underwater or on land, there’s wildlife everywhere. So many animals you can only find here, and seeing them just going about their lives made the whole place feel incredibly special. And despite being such a famous destination, you come across only a handful of other tourists. Experiencing all of this without crowds made it feel even more intense! I left after 4 islands already wanting to come back and see more. ❤️ As always, I tracked the whole journey on @polarsteps, so if you want to see the full adventure & itinerary beyond these little snapshots, you can click the link in bio. 🫶

Is it expensive? Yes… Is it worth it? YES. 😭 I literally spent my days playing underwater with sea lions, became weirdly obsessed with albatrosses, saw tortoises that were basically the size of my old flat-share room, walked past more marine iguanas than I could count and saw SO many sharks that I’m honestly not sure if I’ll ever be impressed by sharks while diving again 😭😂 And that’s just a tiny part of what we saw here. The Galápagos is just ridiculously unique. Every day felt like: okay… surely this can’t get any better. And then it did. Have you ever been to the Galápagos, or is it somewhere you’d love to go? 👀🌎

This was definitely not on my lifetime bingo card 😭😭 Swimming with 150 wild dolphins… what?! And of course, this had to be the exact moment water started leaking into my underwater case and fogging up half of my footage 😂 But honestly… BEST. DAY. EVER. At some point I was just completely surrounded by dolphins. So many of them swimming around me, diving underneath me, coming back up and looking at me like they were just as curious about me as I was about them. I don’t even know how to describe that feeling. I’ve swum with dolphins before, but never anything remotely like this. Being out there in the middle of the ocean, with this huge pod all around me, felt completely surreal. One of those moments I know I’ll never forget. 🥹🐬

It definitely doesn’t get boring out here 😅🌿 4 hours of hiking through the river to catch some fish… while I was simultaneously trying my absolute best not to drop either my camera or Coco into the water 😂 Coco definitely trusted me more than I trusted myself in some moments. 🫠😂 What a dayyyy. 🐟💦🌴 And after days like this, having a good place to sleep is EVERYTHING. My @tickettothemoonhammock hammock has been my light little home throughout this jungle adventure. I’m using the Ultralight with integrated insect protection, plus their lightweight tarp for outdoor bivvying. 🌙🌿 I asked them for a little something for you guys too: 10% off with code VALERIE10 ✌️ Or hit the link in my bio!

Ready for more Amazon adventures? 😍🌿 Life in the jungle - Part 3… Today we hiked deep into the dense rainforest to reach a remote jungle hut. But there was one little problem… we didn’t bring enough food with us. 😂 So we had to get creative and see what the jungle had to offer. 🌿🍄 #amazonia #waorani #jungle #amazonrainforest
