Someone recently asked me if I had any artbooks to recommend... Well, yes I do! :D I’m starting to build a pretty nice collection, so here I’m sharing just the 5 that I consider the most important in my collection. But if you guys like this kind of thing, I can show you the others too! Let me know if you’re interested! (Obviously, keep in mind that it took me years to build this collection, a lot of them were gifts, and not everyone has the same budget! I can already see some of you thinking “girl, that’s A LOT of money!” I know! And obviously I’m not saying “you NEED these books or you suck!”... Just, if you’re looking for an artbook and don’t know which one to get, here are a few ideas! ) Hi, I’m Kat’ ! 🧡 I’m an artist & art teacher, I want to share my art journey and help you become a better artist too!

These are a few of the books I’m loving right now as I dive deeper into watercolor and marker techniques. Funny fact - I’ve had painting calm long before I would ever paint by myself. I just thought it was beautiful. #alcoholmarkers #watercolor #bookworm #markers #goaldigger

I waited a month for this book—I didn’t realize it was a preorder when I bought it. The author shares her work on Instagram, and since the book focuses on drawing florals and botanicals with alcohol markers and colored pencils, it felt perfect for me. It’s geared more toward beginners, but that’s not a bad thing. There are techniques and tutorials that are genuinely helpful, and her artwork is beautiful. I’m excited to spend real time with it. The author @muiri_ has been so kind, which means a lot to me. I’m happy. #alcoholmarkers #colorpencils #botanicals #flowers #blueberry

#florencja #firenze Team work is dreamwork. #warszawa #centrumpraskiekoneser #kinoplenerowe Warszawskie spacerki latem? Najlepiej! My friend @muiri_ recently published a book and I'm super proud of her so wanted to do a quick post about it! It's called Rewild Your Drawing and today I decided to give one of the seasonal projects a go. 🌸💐 To be honest, I hate the way it turned out as I had limited colours and haven't touched markers since secondary school BUT I had a lot of fun drawing. Figuring out a medium without feeling intimidated by the blank page of a sketchbook was a nice way to de-stress. Speaking of which - I actually got the wrong sketchbook. I accidentally got cream pages instead of white OOPS. 💀✌️. Anyways, Marta's passion for plants really shines through in this book. She walks you through different plant types and shapes. The book even has a bunch of botanical facts and lore inside it which I thought was pretty cool. The projects are clear and step-by-step walking you through each technique used (though personally I didn't really use the steps and improvised). This is obviously not sponsored but if you've read this far and would like to have a look just comment "PLANT" and I will send you a link to the book so you can check it out. 🎨 Art supplies: @winsorandnewton pro markers @royaltalens sketchbook @prismacolor premier coloured pencils #rewildyourdrawing #winsorandnewtonpromarkers #talensartcreation #prismacolorpencils

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! 💖❤️‍🔥❣️🧡♥️🩵🩶🩷💓💕💗💙💛💜💚💝💞💟❤️🖤🤍🤎!! #bajkowyportret #portretnazamówienie #portretpary
