We always talk about how confusing signs can be, sometimes though it’s extremely obvious. Pride is a protest, but it’s also the uniqueness of all queer people, be it those who show their love through unique ways, those who don’t have any need for romantic love, those who know their gender identity, those who don’t know their gender identity and so much more.

This month’s QI will be on 13th July at Hoopla Impro. It starts at 7PM if you want to take part in the workshop or 8PM if you’d prefer to watch without going to the workshop. (Link in bio for tickets). The workshop is for queer improvisors only but the show is open for anyone to watch.

🐡 CAST ANNOUNCEMENT 🐡

Our penultimate cast announcement for the Southend 48 Hour Improvathon 2026! Joining the previously announced cast are…

LEE TEARELL @laughter.academy
The grandfather of improv! Lee is a coach at The Laughter Academy and has taught his craft to the vast majority of our company.

MUJTABA WALJI @mujie124
Mujtaba has performed in improv house teams in London and performed in new formats of his own creation.

LIAM WEBBER @liamjwebber
Liam is an improviser from Nottingham who is 1/3rd of The Pretend Company with Ali James and Chris Mead, co-artistic director of the Robin Hood International Improviser, and was a cast member on national radio show ‘Dead British: an improvised history show.’

SHARON WILLIAMS @nacttheatreco
An improviser with a worrying number of ‘yes-and’ victories, zero script, and an impressive ability to make it up convincingly- as if it was always the plan.

MATTHEW WILLIS

LESELY WILSON @lesley1wilson
Lesley is a current member of Unbridled Improv and was previously involved The Staccatos Improv.

We promise no Gavins were mentally scarred in the making of improv. Come to our show tonight @hooplaimpro with @musicboximprov (link in bio) to maybe see more characters getting tortured (or maybe not, it’s all improvised after all)
