The past few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions for so many of us, it’s only natural that our creative work might suffer. Being an artist, Ayesha Kapadia has spent time learning how to channel her emotions into creative work and will be helping you do this as well.

In this Take Five session, we'll be carefully crafting pathways from your garden of emotions into your work in ways that you can apply to every aspect of your life. See you on Tuesday!

Repost @mulhumsupply //
I may not know you, but I love you. This is my love letter to you. 8 letters carefully strung together, to describe the vastness of infinity. Unbound, unfiltered - love. Caring, caressing - love. Enveloping, soothing - love. Sharing, giving - love. A love that heals and holds within it infinite warmth, like a deep cup of hot cocoa on a rainy day. I love you. Let these words stir within your being. I love you. I love you. So much.

This is some of my favorite work from 2018, arranged in chronological order.
1. Working with @clovethestore in it's launch phase as a Creative Associate has been a massive boon to my skillsets. Thank you for the teachings and opportunity @samyuktanair <3
2. @priyankablah trusted me with creating imagery for a story on @kalkikanmani , to have to express the various facets of Kalki through visuals and had a blast creating it with @im.freezin and @gpkritikos.
3. Discovered this method of painting watercolour while dreaming on the waterfall bed in Kodaikanal.
4. Launched a zine which is an expression of the various musings I've been storing in tiny drawers in my mind. Now it's a tangible object for everyone to own.
5. When your client's brief is 'do whatever you want'. So grateful to have built (over a variety of projects together) a creative relationship with @bombayperfumery full of copious amounts of trust and faith.
6. Where do I begin with @mulhumsupply. It's been a real journey and it's not even begun yet. Super excited to create a world which is inclusive and warm and loving and compassionate.
7. Such a pleasure to make art for a human being who's words and tunes do so much for so many. @prateekkuhad
8. To have my watercolours selected to be showcased at The India Story @theindiastory felt nice.
9. Learning how to shoot, develop, splice and play with film is a massive tick off my bucket list. Also, to have met a fantastic bunch of people at school was a blessing. I learnt how to appreciate and value 16mm.

It's been good. It's going to get better.

Last sketch of 2018. Feminist friends, I'd like to share some small bits of my art with women who spoke up and put their sanity on the line over the past months. Please help me spread the word and contact me if you'd like me send you a small piece of art ❤

29.10.2018 marks a special dent in time when we healed together. When people brought their person and not their personality. A safe space to feel. Popcorn, candy & watermelon popsicles fed our tummies while the balmy tunes of @prateekkuhad and @kavyatrehan 's soothing voice had us under a healing spell. Thank you for the light @bombayperfumery. It was an evening of compassion and has filled all our cups to carry us through with strength.

Come join us @mulhumsupply .
