Taking my husband on his first Shake Shack experience! 🍔❤️

Moving here from NYC, Shake Shack has always been my burger of choice, so I have been counting down the days until they opened in the Capital Region.

I ordered my go-to veggie burger, Mullet man tried the chicken sandwich, and of course we couldn’t leave without the fries and a black & white shake (long time favorite right here)

Welcome to the @stuyvesantplaza @shakeshack ! We’re so happy you’re here. Who’s making a trip to Stuyvesant Plaza tomorrow? 🍟✨

I fucking hate CANCER but it was the best thing to ever happen to me!

12 years ago today I had my double mastectomy after I finished chemo! Never could I or anyone for that matter believe how much my life would change!
The places I’ve been, the things I’ve done, the people I met, all of the things! Wow just wow! Who would have thought that such a horrible thing would turn out to be the best thing!

The fortunate thing that I unfortunately had dealt with for 14 years prior, MS, helped me more than I could have know. It prepared me for hard shit, sitting in an infusion chair, MRI’s, ultrasounds, doctor’s appointments, blood draws, the unknown and so much more! Cancer was easy in comparison to MS if that gives you any idea and CANCER IS HARD!!

I’m grateful for everyday since, even the hard ones. Because at the end of the day I GET TO HAVE HARD DAYS!

Happy 12 year Flativersary to me!! 🧡🩷🧡🩷

5 years 💍 Together 8 (??!!) Truly, get a man that takes dinner reservations SERIOUSLY. All the staff at @ruthschris (which BTW, incredible meal) kept stopping by the table to say “happy anniversary” and “congratulations on the mullet”…..swipe to see Scott’s notes to the restaurant 🥲😂 #anniversary #ruthchrissteakhouse #316 #marriedlife #dinks

Merry Christmas 🤍

My best Christmas gift this year?

1️⃣ It’s not snowing, which means my husband actually gets to spend the holiday with us (life of a snow plow wife, okay!! VERY thankful).

2️⃣ And the real miracle…
While I was in Florida, we had that wild snowstorm and Grace had a total freak accident and got lost. After being missing for two hours, my husband woke me up in the middle of the night sobbing. Our velcro dog — the one who’s never more than five feet away — was just… gone.

He called me, we prayed together, asking God to please bring our girl home. I hung up and started making a “missing dog” post… and not even 20 seconds later, our dog warden messaged us that someone had brought Grace to the police station. Safe. Found. Home. 🥹🙏 Thank you, LORD!

Our Christmas miracle!
Yes, my raccoon-hat-wearing husband and my dog who hates family photos 🙃

The last few weeks, I’ve just been focusing on slowing down. Having meals with friends, having quality time with the ones I love. 2025 is traveling at the speed of SOUND. It’s been filled with so many good things but I also don’t think we were all meant to be THIS busy. Cherishing this time to have meals with loved ones, cozy home cooked meals IN, sushi nights with my favorite cousin not cousins (@sydneynoell & @bellababe518 ) Chinese by candlelight with my husband, @_scotiasweets taste tests, at home brunch with Finn Posson, spending time with some other couples over @theoldebryaninn French onion soup, an impromptu midweek hang with my fav vintage cuties, @msmaverickmuse & @sophiamzell at @pitaandolive - feeling extra thankful for this time of rest & relationships. God, you’ve blessed me with so many full friendships. iCry. #familymeals #friendtime #november #thankful #gratitude #grateful

It’s hard to sum up the past 3 years of competing in the @mulletchampusa, but it’s been a wild and exciting ride! Although this past year didn’t live up to the past two, it didn’t stop me from making a difference in a veteran’s life and raising awareness with this mane of mine.

I’ve crunched all the numbers and the FINAL total that I was able to raise over these past 3 years is 19,543.78 🤯 Read that number again. With the help of my family, friends and supporters, I was able to contribute 19,543.78 to @jah4ww!!! I’m grateful to have been able to help such an incredible foundation do incredible things for our veterans.

With that being said, I AM RETIRING from the USA Mullet Championships. To say that it has changed my life may sound like an over exaggeration, but it truly has. The opportunities that I’ve been given all because I won the hearts of America over while competing has been something I would’ve never imagined. I’m truly grateful.

It is now time to pass the torch down to Colton Goll. You’ve got some big shoes to fill, so rock that mullet proudly. Congratulations, champ!

Also, a big congratulations goes out to the teen winner, Mason Padilla and the adults winner, Brandon Elliot, aka @mullet_review.

Shoutout to all the competitors and all of your hard work in raising over $175k for our veterans this year. 🫡
