Filling bags, fueling futures! ☀️

This summer, UHC – Hub of Opportunities was proud to support Food Banks Canada’s After the Bell program by packing and bringing thousands of nutritious food packs to families across Windsor-Essex. ❤️

With approximately 30% of Windsor Essex Food Bank Association users being children, this support matters.

Every food pack is more than a meal; it’s a reminder that every child is seen, supported, and never alone.

These lovely children are campers of @multiculturalcl Ignite Academy, one of the many organizations supported through this program. ❤️

Thank you to the @foodbankscanada staff, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners helping make a difference this summer.

Our Summer Symphony Youth Musicians performed at the @capitoltheatrewindsor for campers from the @multiculturalcl!

The students asked our musicians great questions and brought so much enthusiasm.

Thank you to the Multicultural Council! We loved performing for you and hope to see you again soon.

What an incredible day! Our first Canada Day Celebration at Baitul Ehsan Mosque was a tremendous success.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the flag-hoisting ceremony, where kids proudly presented the live national anthem, and families enjoyed the fire truck experience, along with free BBQ, cake, children's games, interactive activities, mosque tours, and a day of friendship and community spirit.

We are grateful to our volunteers, community partners, local dignitaries, media, and every family who celebrated with us. Your support helped make this event truly memorable.

We look forward to welcoming everyone again next year!

MUITO OBRIGADA! THANK YOU SO MUCH. 🇧🇷❤️

First of all, thank you to every volunteer, staff member, artist, vendor, partner, and supporter who made the Brazilian Village possible. Every helping hand, every smile, every long hour, and every act of kindness helped bring this dream to life. To each and every one of you, please accept a big, warm Brazilian hug.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. To those who stood by us when things were going wrong and to those who celebrated with us when everything finally came together, thank you! You became part of a memory we will carry in our hearts forever.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the Multicultural Council, the Carrousel of the Nations, “The Burg” CKBG Radio, @v4events_canada, @mnsi.official , and the Town of Amherstburg for giving us the opportunity to share the joy, culture, and spirit of the Brazilian people.

Amherstburg will forever be a little piece of Brazil in Ontario. 🇧🇷❤️

This was our first Brazilian Village, and we will never forget this experience.

Thank you for believing in us, for believing in our culture, and for making history with us.

See you next year. Until 2027, Caramelo Gang! 🐕🇧🇷
