POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
What an honor to co-lead programming of the 4th FilAm Creative Film Festival @facfilmfestival. On October 2-4, we featured over 40 unique stories, films, panels and inspired conversation and collaboration. I’m always blown away by the stories and skills of my community, but this year left me speechless. I’m so proud of the bravery of Filipino storytellers. We’re trailblazing, embracing our identity & making our Lola’s dreams come true. Throughout the screenings and the Awards Gala, I met, showcased and worked alongside the most talented artists. I truly feel apart of a movement swelling under the surface, about to explode onto the mainstream. Keep telling your stories and making noise! It was extra special this year, @iscoatknee and I got to showcase the music video to our new song, Clarity. Thanks for the love & to our friends for coming out to support the screening! I wish I got more pictures with everyone & I could tag more people. Next time :) Happy FAHM 🫶🏽

What an incredible Sunday celebrating film, creativity, and community at the FilAm Creative Film Festival Gala! 🎬✨ A huge thank you to the amazing FilAm Creative team and staff for putting together such a beautiful event, and to all the sponsors, vendors, and everyone who helped make the night special. It takes a village to bring an event like this together, and everyone behind the scenes deserves the recognition. Captured by 🎥 @andrew.ernacio @threekings.media

The @manilaintlfilmfest Awards Gala as it happened to the dude who played Joseph Acter, formerly known as “Actor Joe”, in @noroom_forlove . It was quite a different experience being on the talent side of it this time. I was part of production staff 2 years ago and I was shooting “The Sharp Point of Time” during the festival last year. I got to eat some fancy food at the Beverly Hilton and treat the No Room for Love table to a few bottles of wine 🍷. This night put quite the bow on the weekend celebrating Filipino cinema in the motherland, here stateside, and abroad. Stay tuned for the next No Room for Love screenings in Seattle and New York! Showcasing the bright, fantastic aftermath of the @manilaintlfilmfest Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) reception lounge with community leader, actor, and producer @jeffvfrancisco and the COO of @facfilmfestival , Angel Quinzay @chefqueensay Thanks to Lisa Lew @lisalewbb for building a master platform to bring feature films from the Philippines to America, we are incredibly fortunate to represent Filipino-American cinema on this historic block. To have these films shown at the premier TCL Chinese Theatre isn’t just a celebration - it’s a necessity. For these films to be considered for an Academy Award, it has to happen right here in America. Starting the first Filipino-American film festival in Los Angeles is a historic feat considering how many Filipinos are here, but the foundation is finally laid. This is about creating platforms and elevating the massive contributions Filipinos have brought to Hollywood and America. In a time where it is incredibly culturally important to be having these conversations, we are elevating a diverse range of filmmakers, producers, and experiences. Highlighting the incredible productions from the weekend: No Room For Love: (Pictured Right to left) Co-writers and Directors Randal and Alu Kamradt, alongside their sound design, post-production team, and executive producers. Bench: Body of Work: (Pictured Right to left) Director Tom Lowry @directortomlowry , @kimensonlowry executive producers @rosie.canonigo @jpreyesmallo @justynmalloreyes , showcasing passion, culture, music, and art on a truly monumental night. We invite the public to attend and keep supporting these vital programs. Mark your calendars: The next FilAm Creative Film Festival will take place October 1st–4th, 2026 at our new permanent home at @calstatela, kicking off Filipino American History Month. It was an absolute privilege and honor to shoot these moments and celebrate with you all at the Chinese Theatre. 📸🎬✨ @noroom_forlove @maloukamradt @randalkamradt @benchtm @dmhmproductions @jcreativeentertainment @americanfilminstitute @chinesetheatres #MIFF2026 #FilAmCreative #FilipinoAmerican #FilipinoFilmmakers #TCLChineseTheatre (by Jacob Mehditach)
