HIGHLIGHTS International Art Fair Munich 2026, that’s a wrap!

Munich HIGHLIGHTS @munichhighlights came to an end yesterday, and didn’t disappoint in championing the interplay between old and contemporary art. Ever since the fair first pitched its tent in the courtyard of Munich’s Residenz in 2010, audiences have been treated to an extraordinary breadth of art, spanning from the Gothic period to the present day.

Here’s are selection of seven artworks that caught our eye:

Aggregation 23-DE138, CHUN KWANG YOUNG @chunkwangyoung @beckeggeling

Flügel, HEINZ MACK @mack.foundation @uekermann_kunsthandel

Volcanic Flame, YUHAO CHEN @chan.yukho @muellerschoenrecker

Femme voilee II, SARAH MOON @sarahmoon_official @commeter

Ohne Titel (Sphärisches Hohlspiegelobjekt), ADOLF LUTHER @adolflutherstiftung @galerieschwarzer

Mimi, GISELA BECK @beckeggeling

Ohne Titel (Erdbeeren), KARIN KNEFFEL @karin.kneffel.art @galerieludorff

Huge congratulations to the participating artists and galleries, and of course to @juana_schwan @cvoeynhausen

See you again next year

What an eventful week it has been!

As another wonderful edition of @munichhighlights comes to an end, we look back on the past days with immense gratitude and joy. From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting new collectors and art enthusiasts, this year’s fair has once again been filled with memorable encounters, engaging conversations, and a shared appreciation for exceptional art.

It is precisely these moments of exchange and connection that make Munich HIGHLIGHTS such a special occasion for us year after year. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our booth, shared their thoughts and enthusiasm, and contributed to making this week so memorable.

A special thank you also goes to the entire HIGHLIGHTS team for bringing together such an extraordinary selection of art in an atmosphere that never fails to impress.

We leave the Residenz with wonderful memories, renewed inspiration, and already a little excitement for what next year may bring. Until then – thank you for an unforgettable week!
