NWA: While we may have only had a short time in London, I made the effort to stop by @vertexwatches to check out their boutique. I have had an interest in the M100 for a while due to their heritage and being one of the Dirty Dozen brands from WWII. To my surprise, we were greeted by Don, the owner and great grandson of the original founder. He warmly welcomed us into the shop and explained a little more about the brand, his family and why he brought the brand back. He showed us the current line up, including the currently out of stock bronze M36 that Mrs. Nomad immediately said she wants when they come back in stock. When I asked about some of their vintage pieces, he pulled out a tray than had some from throughout the brands history. The highlight for me was an actual watch that had been worn on D-Day. At that point it was inevitable. We all knew that I would be leaving with an M100A. Thank you to Don and Kit for the hospitality and I’m looking forward to see you again! Guess it's about time I make it official... As I turned 40 in March I started to hunt for the perfect "one watch collection". Started the journey in November and in May I finally picked up this NOS 2010 #omega #aquaterra 38,5mm. I have been enjoying it over the summer and it has proven itself both as a elegant dress watch as well as a capable field watch. This wouldn't have been possible without my "technical consultant" @an_englishman_in_europe . This would never have happened without him, his knowledge and his patience. I am forever grateful 🙏 I also want to thank my ever supportive (and sometimes frustrated girlfriend) @gshockgiirl for countless nights of me showing her watch photos asking this or that. As in all major decisions, she gave me permission to pick this watch 😋
