We have some wonderful news…❤️

We are utterly thrilled to announce that internationally acclaimed conductor and composer @jonathanwillcocks is to become the Honorary President of the St Hubert’s Music Series for 2027.

Jonathan has conducted around the world and enjoyed an extraordinary career as both conductor and composer, so it means a huge amount to us that he has agreed to become part of what we are building here in our little corner of Hampshire.

And this isn’t simply an honorary title.

Jonathan’s involvement is already helping us think bigger about what St Hubert’s Music can become.

Next year we will have nine concerts, including a very special evening featuring Jonathan and his orchestra at our sister church in Chalton.

And there’s something else we’re itching to tell you.

Jonathan’s involvement has already helped make possible an exciting new partnership that will enable some fantastically talented young musicians to perform as part of our 2027 series.

We can’t tell you everything just yet, but we will. And we’re very excited about it.

As Jonathan himself puts it:

“I am delighted to be associated with this, the second year of the concert series based at the beautiful churches of St Hubert’s, Idsworth and St Michael’s, Chalton. What could be better than to hear great music played by fine performers in such idyllic surroundings?”

We could not have put it better ourselves. 😍

And two important dates for your diary.

Tickets for the 2027 series go on sale on Saturday 24 October, exclusively to everyone who booked tickets with us during 2026, and we will be holding their prices at £25.

It’s our way of saying thank you to the people who have supported us this year and helped this little concert series grow.

General sale opens Saturday 7 November.

Nine concerts. Some wonderful musicians. Some exciting new ideas.

And now a rather special Honorary President.

Jonathan, we couldn’t be more delighted to have you with us. 🤩🎼🎉
