You know, it’s funny. My close friends could tell you, New Years is usually my THING. I throw a huge bash, food, drinks, the whole nine yards. But this year? It didn’t quite feel right - and as I’m typing this now I’m sitting at home recovering from a sickness, VERY glad that I didn’t commit to all of that only to cancel last minute.

The irony is ~ as I sit alone when I’m usually surrounded by family and friends ~ this somehow feels beautifully poetic. Not in a sad or self-deprecating way, but reflective. Because 2025 was the year that taught me how to love solitude. And by extension, the year I learned to truly, deeply love myself.

I took time - a lot of time - to heal this year. And I mean it when I say that everything else got put on the back burner. Work, projects, relationships. I can have a certain intensity when I find a worthy goal, and this one was the one I believed would change the rest of my life if I did it right. So…I did it. I took time, I found incredible teachers, therapists, books, and methodologies that actually worked for me beyond merely helping me intellectually understand my experience. And coming from a woman who came into this year with [real big] anxiety and is coming out of it with a nervous system that feels safe and cozy to exist in? That’s huge.

Out of everything that I’ve accomplished this year that I could list, this has been the most meaningful. If I’m honest, it may be the most meaningful thing I’ve done this decade.

And the beautiful thing is now I feel SO much more present to my life. I see it in my relationships. I’m more connected to my work. And I’m actually clear on my next steps?? I may be gushing now, but friends I can’t help it, it’s SO COOL.

So…here’s some pictures. Of me, of my family and friends, of experiences and people that have made my life so much better. ❤️ (sorry I can’t tag you all!)

And this upcoming year? Well. My goal is to do a hell of a lot of things that scare me. So 2026 - if you hear this, you better watch out, cuz I’m coming for you. 💖✌🏼

I made this dress out of the waistbands and pockets of thrifted denim, and pre-loved ties 🤩 it was so much fun to create!

Some BTS from the PSW Vegas 2025 shoots. It was a blast to hang out with @murakamibennett and @ethan.kart and use humor to get through long days. So many others who I didn’t manage to snag pics with but I had a blast and I’m grateful to have my love by my side for yet another work adventure. 😊 PS Bennett lives off Cheez-Its and still manages to have a 6 pack, goals!
