Story time. 📖

Things that were not on my 2026 bingo card:
- writing a haiku on my law school exam and dropping out
- signing a commercial lease
- putting a filing cabinet in my car with a forklift
- purchasing haunted lockers off of FB marketplace

#justartistthings

Oh! And to celebrate the opening of @makewell.studio, I created a special edition art print inspired by the creative dreaming that started this whole thing.

Available to purchase at the link in my bio, or visit www.makewell.studio

Credit to @magicwithmadeye for painting the base of this collage with me, and for helping lay the foundation of Make Well the past months. Could not have done it without you. 💛

July- September photo dump 🎞️🌻 goodbye Summer

This one I procrastinated editing and posting because in July I lost my sweet Ollie bear (my family dog - last photo) we had him for ten years and he was there for me through my hardest moments. He is missed everyday, just like baby James. However this summer brought me the gift of joy after sorrow. I had so many beautiful moments with friends and loved ones and my son. Butterflies and flowers and photos and painting and healing. Laughing, crying, grieving, processing. I’m so thankful for such a beautiful, painful, magical life. And to the people who help me make it that way - I adore you. Xoxo - Mads 🪷🦋💫🍂

I’m OBSESSED with the @makewell.studio especially this beautiful mural Dori made. Last week I had the opportunity to do an art class there and to learn how to make my own mixed media. I love channeling into my creative side and trying new medias.

This Saturday. 🌿 We’ve been growing something special that you don’t want to miss.

When we first started dreaming up Make Well, we wanted to create a space that felt calm, immersive, and inspiring. A place where we could slow down and find creative flow.

When we met Dori and told her about our hopes for a mural, we had no idea just how important her creativity would be for that vision.

She listened to all our ideas and wishes, and then she went and worked her magic in a way only she could.

The finished piece is playful and dreamy. Her artwork captures so much of what we hoped Make Well would feel like.

You’re invited to come see it in person at our Grand Opening this Saturday, August 8, from 6–9 PM.

Dori will also be leading a mixed-media workshop from 7–9 PM, inspired by the materials and techniques she used to create the mural. Let’s fill the room with fans of her incredible work.

Registration is available at www.makewell.studio.

See you this weekend. ❤️

Our mural was created by the incredibly talented Dori Anderson (@da3dux), and it’s quickly become one of the most special parts of Make Well.

We thought it deserved a little celebration. 😌

On August 8, join us for an evening at Make Well. Stop by to wander the space, explore our photo studios, and spend some time with the mural up close. The Open House is free, come-and-go, and you’re welcome to stop in even if you’re just curious about the space.

If you’d like to stay a little longer, Dori will be leading a mixed-media workshop inspired by the mural itself. She’ll share a few of the materials and techniques behind the piece before guiding everyone through creating something of their own. All experience levels welcome! Ages 12+
