out for family dinner night and this week it was pizza night!!! we went to the lovely @muratispizzeria in newport pagnell 🍕✨⭐️ on thursdays they actually do pizza / pasta + a soft drink for £15, which is great if you’re looking to go for a midweek meal!

the food was fantastic, and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, was such a chilled atmosphere for a thurs evening! we managed to get nova some food from the kids menu, and it was such good value for the portion size!!

After such an exhausting week, we decided there was only one thing that could make us feel better: Italian food. 🇮🇹🍝

So, we went and tried Murati’s… and honestly, we may have ordered a little too much 😂 Everything was SO good that getting up from our seats afterwards was a bit of a struggle — but absolutely worth it! 🤌🏼

If you’re around Milton Keynes and looking for somewhere delicious to eat, I’d definitely recommend giving Murati’s a try. And if you can, go on a Thursday because they have a great Thursday offer: any pizza or pasta dish and a soft drink for just £15! 🍕🍝🥤

A perfect excuse for a midweek Italian treat, if you ask me 🫠

We started with the Tricolore salad and tempura prawns, and then came the mains, a loaded calzone and seafood risotto with mussels, prawns and calamari.

Everything was fresh, full of flavour and cooked in their wood-fired oven 🍕

They also have a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, so there’s something for everyone.

And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert… the tiramisu and Dubai cheesecake were the perfect ending.

A great place for a family meal, a date night or getting together with friends and family for a special occasion ❤️

A day I’ll never forget. 🪂❤️

From getting ready that morning, trying to act like I wasn’t terrified… to actually jumping out of a plane at 13,800ft. 😭😂

Still can’t believe I did it!

I faced one of my biggest fears to raise money for an incredible cause, Great Ormond Street Hospital. ❤️ i’d like to thank all the business who donated and made this happen, thank you all for your support and generosity!!

Would I do it again? Absolutely. 😂

ad pr • A date night, just for two, senza bambini… with very good Italian food. 🇮🇹

We went for dinner at @muratispizzeria in Newport Pagnell and we had such a good evening. It’s a family-run restaurant which started in Wolverton in 2016 before opening in Newport Pagnell in 2018 — and you can really feel that love of food, family and entertaining here.

The restaurant and bar is BIG (and fancy!), but still has a great warm atmosphere. And it was busy - that’s always a good sign!

My highlights - The burrata starter was so good, the linguine pomodoro that came with the Chicken Milanese Parm was delicious, and I may have enjoyed some of Rob’s Quattro Formaggi 🍕 even though I was already so full 😜

And then there was the cocktail… 🍒 The Razzle Dazzle, made with cherry and amaretto — quite possibly my favourite flavour combination ever. Freshly made and absolutely top notch ❤️🩷🤎

Next time, we’ll be back with the children — Murati’s has a kids’ set menu for £8.95, including a drink and dessert, so it sounds like the perfect excuse to bring them along - and not far for us at all!

We really should squeeze in more dinner dates for two… when was the last time you had a chance? 💕 🥰 🍽️ 🌹

We went down to try Murati’s and it definitely didn’t disappoint! ☺️🤍 The staff were so professional, friendly and welcoming 😍

🍸 Drinks: We tried the virgin Piña Colada and Mojito, and both were so refreshing and delicious! 🍹

🍤 Starters: We went for the Arancini Balls and Tempura Prawns. Everything was freshly cooked and served, and the portions were HUGE — we’d definitely consider sharing next time 🤭🤌🏻

🍽️ Mains: We tried the Sea Bass and Pepperoni Pizza, and both were delicious! The pizza dough was SO good 🍕 and the sea bass was absolutely stunning 🐟✨

🍮 Dessert: Banoffee Pie and Pistachio Gelato… WOW! 🤤 🍌 🍨 They were both amazing and the perfect way to finish our meal.

We absolutely love good Italian food, and Murati’s definitely didn’t disappoint! 🇮🇹🤍🍕✨

The food was so good plus value for money is great. Murati does a Thursday offer which means u can get any pizza or pasta dish plus a soft drink for just £15.

Order:
▪️Tricole: Tomato and mozzarella - fresh tomatoes and luscious cheese. I enjoyed it alot. The ingredients went so well together.

▪️Nduja mozz sticks: oooh the sticks were fresh and the sauce had that spicy ish tangy taste.

▪️ Caprese pizza: oh wow that pizza was 10/10. I love the quality in the taste and the food comes out fresh to death.

▪️Seafood pasta: the pasta comes packed with fresh seafood and cooked aldente. We heated up the leftovers with more tomato and cream and it was stunning.

▪️Banoffee pie: the assembly of the dessert was just right.
▪️Nutella pizza: one of my favourite desserts ever. It is the perfect pizza everytime. With the fresh strawberries on top it makes it all so nice.

Think I have just about recovered from last week’s carb loading at Murati’s 😅

But wow, this place does classic Italian dishes very well. The menu gave us a hard time choosing, but we thought we’d go for a couple of their new options.

We had:
🍅Burrata, cherry toms, rocket & pesto served with dough knots

🦐Garlic buttered king prawns, garlic, lemon and herb butter (incredible, could have mopped up all the sauce with so much bread) (new)

🍝 Short beef rib tagliatelle - this was basically a hug in a bowl. Pasta cooked perfectly, short ribs falling apart and a rich ragu (new)

🍕Pulled chicken pizza, fior di latte mozzarella, caramelised onion and roasted peppers (new)

☕️ Tiramisu - a classic, how could we not. And it was a goodun.

🍫Dubai cheesecake - I thought we were past the Dubai chocolate hype but it sounded so delicious I couldn’t not. 0 regrets. The pistachio kataifi base was 10/10.

What a wonderful date night spot this is. I’ll be back to start making my way through this menu 🤌🏻
