Brunch? 🥂🍳🌼 Don’t mind if I do 🤭

@murayarestaurant in #Charlotte had everything you need for a perfect start to girls weekend!

Food: 11/10 - best restaurant fried rice l’ve
EVER had, I still think about it
Service: 10/10 - so kind and servers knows their menu!
Price: 10/10 very affordable considering the portions
Vibes: 10/10 SO beautiful! You can tell it was carefully curated piece by piece, the outdoor patio is so nice and has plenty shade. Captures Cartagena beautifully, doesn’t feel like Charlotte at all!

Date night looks better in South End. ✨

Start with dinner at a neighborhood favorite, stop for drinks, save room for dessert, and take the long way home with an evening stroll along the Rail Trail.

All within walking distance of Linea, because some of the best nights are the ones spent right in the neighborhood. Start your next chapter in the heart of South End. (Link in bio)

“¡Quedé con la barriga llena y el corazón contento!”

Qué será, será… 😘😘😘 but this WAS such a highlight!

@murayarestaurant Who is the head chef?!?

Empanadas y ají criollo ( I could eat ounces of the ají criollo alone)

Baru- Shrimp tempura, seared salmon, maduro,
passion fruit … (fabulous. MY GOD)

Arroz con Pollo (THE TEARDROP PEPPERS 🌶️ were the star of the show. I could eat a cup of them alone)

And their Churro was just… PERFECT! (Homemade churro, mascarpone cream, cinnamon & sugar, chocolate sauce)

Their menu is so tailored. Not too large and not too small. You can tell each dish was crafted perfectly for bursts of flavors.

Every server treated us as if we were their personal guests. Thanks to our Server Phillip K and Austin who frequented our table as well.

Side note: To the beautiful singers… they typically come every Sunday for brunch 12pm but they were in the building for the evening.

Did I mention they have a photographer for the restaurant that can snap professional photos of you at the table?

We had reservations, so book yours. The bar was lovely and bartenders gave us farewells. The entire staff was so accommodating and lovely. I even watched the cooks look at the restaurant guest as we all enjoyed our meals and company. And there were so many birthdays, the singers and staff sang happy birthday to almost every table (literally there were 5-6 birthdays during our time there lol)

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF LOVE. And cheers to the social media person who reposted my story.

I am absolutely delighted by this place. I think this is the first time ever I was SPEECHLESS. I can’t wait to try other dishes.

It is also located on the light rail for easy access. The prices were on point. YOU ALL GOT IT RIGHT!

Catching up with my friend and good eats is always a Weekend night well spent!

Today was bigger than a run. 🇨🇴
•
We teamed up with Babaloo for a food & supply drive for earthquake relief in Colombia. The 7.4 magnitude quake that hit Chocó has left hundreds dead, thousands missing, and entire communities without basic supplies.
•
CarolinaRun is about this city, plain and simple. Babaloo is part of our run club family and standing with them to help however we could today meant a lot.
•
Kilometer Run Club Food Drive w/ @babaloocoffeeclub keeps going every weekend this month (Saturday) — 8:30 meet, 9 run. 5K. Can’t make it out? Just come drop a donation Saturday, running’s not required.
•
Shoutout to Harris Teeter for the donation certificates all month.
•
And thank you to everyone who came out today: @chefrhony @salspizzafactory @brasasclt @diez.manos @sweetbloomco @carrillocontracting @tacosbarclt @samiajaramillo @carpaautobroker @murayarestaurant @caffetospecialtycoffee @elpurocuban @mezcal87_cantinabar @valentinabloomsco @pausesouthend @latinosruncharlotte @barnburnersclt 🙏
