What a way to welcome the next generation! 🙌🏾

Our church volunteers had the opportunity to serve the incoming freshman class at Methodist University by helping students move into their dorms. 💪🏾📦

We’re grateful for every volunteer who showed up to serve, encourage, and make the transition a little easier. We’re praying for an amazing year ahead for every student!

coming out this wednesday 🤍

for this episode of Faith in Translation, I’m joined by Corey Barr — athlete, graduating senior at Methodist University, and recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, honoring outstanding character, leadership, and dedication to service.

Corey’s story is a powerful reminder that true leadership isn’t just about success — it’s about how we serve others and the impact we leave behind.

this conversation is real, inspiring, and rooted in purpose 🕊️

stay tuned ✨

honored to introduce our first guest 🤍

Rev. Dr. Kelli W. Taylor serves as the University Chaplain and Dean of Religious & Spiritual Life at Methodist University, where she leads with compassion, wisdom, and a deep commitment to community.

as an ordained United Methodist clergy member, her work centers on creating spaces where people of all faiths — and no faith — can come together in meaningful dialogue.

through her leadership, mentorship, and dedication to interfaith engagement, she continues to inspire students (including me) to lead with curiosity, openness, and respect.

I’m so grateful to have learned from her and to welcome her as the first guest on Faith in Translation 🕊️

From quiet moments in the labyrinth to gathering in worship, #MUMonarchs took time to pause and reflect during Holy Week through a variety of events on campus. 💚💛

On this #GoodFriday, we reflect on the meaning of the day and the moments that invite us to slow down and be intentional. ✝️🦁
