24th September 2026. Bushes and Maple Ward were an excellent choice as support for the wonderful Murmurations at NAC.
Had to delete and repost this because I hadn't resized three of the pics and Instagram chopped people's heads off.

24th September 2026. Lovely evening at NAC with headliners Murmurations. They're down to a trio at the moment but were still excellent.
If you imagine an all-female version of Show of Hands collaborating with Mike Oldfield, that's a bit what Murmurations sound like.
Check out their Anglia Sound Session on YouTube, then buy their album, "Where the Land Meets Sky".

A wide variety of folk music on my list here. A lot of big names had releases this year, some I enjoyed, but most of them just didn’t resonate with me. However, there were a few new bands that were unexpected gems. I’d love to hear what some of your favorites were, as I find this genre to be difficult to discover fresh and exciting music in.

Mon premier voyage en Angleterre <3

Many thanks to @taryn.everdeen , @thesteamcafe , the @forncettsteammuseum and their team for welcoming me 😊🫶

Thanks to all the artists for their concerts 🎻🤍

English version :
My first trip in England <3

Sometimes, it feels like our stories can never live up to our memories.

This summer, I went to the east of England for a folk music festival called The Forncett Festival. It took place in @forncettsteammuseum , a steam engine museum, in a somewhat magical atmosphere.

I discovered lots of artists and attended many concerts, such as those by the band @murmurations__ and @antheme.chante accompanied by @taryn.everdeen on the autoharp.

I even had the chance to share my songs during an open mic session. I'll never forget that moment and the kindness of the audience.

On the way back, I saw someone with a King Crimson tattoo, which made me laugh so much. It was such a funny coincidence. On board the ferry, I watched the sun rise and already felt nostalgic.
