In less than a week, we set up an XR opera that took place across the streets of Brooklyn with @operaontap 🤯

We used a live cueing system that triggered audio + XR visuals across tablets and AR glasses throughout the performance.

It was SO cool seeing these abstract characters we had designed over the previous weeks actually come to life in a live performance. Watching strange forms pop up to taunt and protect the opera singers as they moved through the city.

Definitely one of those projects where every possible challenge comes up, and then things come together right at the last moment 🫠✨

From NMOP 26

Had such a great time in Vermont performing and premiering so many new pieces by amazing composers. Got to play with the Bergamot Quartet @bergamotquartet, performed some really fun music by Erin Gee, Levy Lorenzo and Katie Young, and a bunch of new music by great musicians/composers/new friends 🫰🏼

First 2 pics by the amazing @walking_singing
The rest by me — developed at @cuarto.latente

Much belated update on SHRIMPLY THE VEST!

I started designing this in August of 2023 for @murp.severt’s January birthday. I finished making it in July of 2025. Shrimply took so much trial and error, and at many points I shelved her because I just got too frustrated. Worth it.

2 weeks on a lake with lovely company, an unimaginable amount of rich new music, and enough chaos to send a teddy bear to a mental health facility (see last slide). Thank you to @nmopgram for an incredible, unforgettable experience.
