POV: someone lost their mic🎤😭

We’ve kicked off Summit 02 with the first game, and things are moving!

I get a callout from Grayson that he needs to speak with Scotty backstage ASAP, so I track him down and let him know.

Then I hear one of the player mic’s has fallen, so the search begins😅 Off-camera, I find it on the ground and wait for confirmation on who it belongs to. Once the team confirms they can still hear Simon, we know it needs to go back on Collin!

I make my way over to his corner, let him know I need to mic him back up, quickly jump in to get it secured, and confirm with the team once his audio is back.

POV: We have a minute to fix this😅

The stream hasn’t even started yet and we’re already having audio issues…

While the receiver’s connecting, Scotty and I clarify our push-in timing for player intros. I keep in close contact with Murph as we troubleshoot the audio technical difficulties, and Grayson ends up literally tossing me another mic so we could get everything working before tip-off.

Thankfully, everyone watching from home just saw the “We’ll Be Right Back” screen…the people in the gym got the full experience👀

POV: CHAIR CHAIR CHAIR!

We’re back with another look behind-the-scenes at TNC X FST.

For this event, we’re working with multiple games over a long period of time, so the camera team decides to test out an EZ Rig setup for one of our operators.

@gdwhite99 operates the rig before the actual cam ops arrive, and it’s looking SMOOTH…until Grayson almost walks right into a chair, which could have caused $1000’s in damages if he fell😭

Luckily, multiple production members saw disaster and called it out before Gray could get too close😮‍💨

Unfortunately, your boy was locked in for this event, and did not have a chance to grab any footage from game-day…but that just means y’all get to see Summit content that-much earlier! Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes POV content🔥

POV: how did we end up here😆

We’ve miraculously finished our face-off film shoot ON TIME, but even as we have time to load our equipment into the truck, the team decides it’s time to get frugal…by attempting to lift a foldable dolly cart filled with 400+ ibs of film & lighting equipment…up a flight of stairs😱😅

Josh and I are obviously skeptical about the possibility of this happening, but Josh and Logan give it a go anyway. Every film production red flag is going off in my head, but the attempt continues🫣🤞Through all the laughter and heavy lifting…can they do it??

POV: we haven’t even started…and the first player already has to leave😭

After getting our parking ticket situation sorted, we’re finally back on track with setup. As players start arriving for face-offs, Greg comes up to me with a problem…it’s 12:00, and he was supposed to leave 10 minutes ago😅

We haven’t even started filming yet, so now we’re scrambling to rearrange the entire face-off order. I let Moon know he’s moving to second, tell Qel he’s up first, and thankfully everyone’s cool with the switch.

@jabreu911 gets us rolling, and the face-offs are officially underway.

You won’t see much of the actual face-offs because I was locked in and completely forgot to film😭 But you will get to watch our very ambitious attempt to unload the entire production in one trip💀

POV: we all got tickets🚔😭

It’s day 1 of our prelim schedule leading to event day, and we were running LATE for face offs!

In the heat of the moment, our team missed signage which explained we needed to pay online for parking…

As the morning unfolds, I discuss gameplay with Murph and Dallas, a potential top-golf excursion for the team with Alec, and more!

Then I get a text: “yo, you all got ticketed in the parking lot”

I head outside with Dallas to assess, and in fact, we all received parking tickets. As I say in the video, “that’s what happens” we’ll do better next time🤞

Different Talents. One Passion. 🎥

I've been lucky to meet a lot of talented filmmakers throughout my journey, these are some of the people I've known since the early days. Watching each of them grow, level up their craft, build their careers, and stay passionate about creating has been inspiring.

This is just a small shout-out @sfl.outlook @fatjuanfilms @murph.redeye and thank you for all the years of creativity and good vibes. Proud to see how far everyone has come, and excited to see where the next chapter takes us.

Keep creating. Keep building. 🚀
