I bought my first camera two and a half years ago. I was hired by DePaul Athletics shortly after. I was scared, way out of my comfort zone, and had no idea what the future held. Now almost three years later, my journey here has come to an end.

I have too many words for my DePaul athletics people. I am no photographer without you all. This family has been everything to me and I’m so excited for the future of this program. You’ve been a second home for me. I’ve put blood, sweat, and tears into this department and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The people I’ve met here have shaped me into not only the creator I am, but the man I am today.

Being a graduate assistant with an athletics department is not easy. It’s late hours, long trips, unorganized schedules, and little consistency. But it’s also incredibly rewarding, fulfilling, invigorating work that gets better every day. I’ve gotten better every day. As I continue with my career and leave this beautiful city and incredible department, I leave knowing that this department has given me more life lessons than I could have asked for.
