Happy Saturday!

Funny how one innocent sticker of the Argentine flag turned into a collection on both sides of my pantry door.

Remember... places? Oh, what we wouldn't give to drink a mid-afternoon gin and tonic with these two at Carry Nation’s here in Los Gatos.⠀

About her process, artist @murphyadams writes:⠀
"My paintings seek to tackle life's triumphs and tragedies, as well as explore my own demons and personal obsessions, of which there are many. My quirky, naive style is intentionally childlike, but explores frank and intimate issues, both personal and universal." ⠀
•⠀
🛍 MORE quirky work by Murphy is available ONLINE, and will be coming to our Spring 2020 (semiannual, cult-sensational) Affordable Art Show. Opening in Los Gatos... when we can all gather together once again. When This Is All Over!⠀

Human connection is crucial- finding friends who will "persist" with you through thick and thin is something to never take for granted.
•
We love this group of high school friends that celebrate friendship with one another- and their undies! (Swipe, + keep reading for a little story. 💛)
•
"We all graduated about 40 years ago yet we made sure we all kept in touch by planning a getaway each year- to come and recharge our connection. We are always there for each other for love, support, and for lifting one another up through some pretty tough times. The words on each of our undies reflect what we are going through this year and who we are!"

Local artist and educator Murphy Adams @murphyadams featured in current Issue 11.4 “Profiles”

Murphy is known for is her discomfort with color-in-the-lines perfectionism, expressed through devoted avoidance of balanced symmetry.
