🎂🎁 Oh Novi….. our little Novita. 🩷💜 Happiest of birthdays my love. So hard to believe she’s 4 y’all!!! From the moment I touched Rei’s belly I knew that we would be tight. Then I met her….. 🥺🥺🥺 became her Godmommy…… chilled with her, Jay, Rei and Bre all the time…… just an absolute blessing. She’s just so cool! Vibey. FOMO like her Dad. Social (and antisocial) like her Mom, lol. She don’t take no crap from anyone and will tell on you in a heartbeat. lmao!!! This girl was born BALD, but has gorgeous hair like Reina. A smile like Reina’s. Her Dads strength and passion for all things life. She’s resilient. She’s blessed. She’s smart. She loves to dance. She loves KPop (Rei and Bre, lol). Her village is strong. She’s loved. I wish nothing but blessings upon her because her heart is so kind….. even with losing so much such a short time ago. 🩷 She has my heart and soul. Happy 4th birthday sweet Nova Rei 💋💋💋💋💋

🩷 WHAT A WEEK WE HAD!!!! 3 after school choir practices, babysitting, sickness, homework for at least 2.5 hours a night (maintaining straight A’s), chores, extra chores by me (😉)…….. Oh, and SHE WON HOCO LADY!!!! HOCO Lady is the same as Queen, but that’s only open to Seniors. AAAANNNNDDDDD her twin (IYKYK) since Kindergarten, A.J. won HOCO Lord!!! Congrats to these two AND to the entire HOCO Court (we love you Lyric - she was HOCO Duchess). Thank you to all of our friends and family that came out, text, called and showed love to our girl. Your love never goes unnoticed and we appreciate you more than you will ever know. 💕💕

Her pink attire, Psalms 91 and the breast cancer ribbon are in memory of her Aunt Reina, who passed away March 24th. RIP @rgaloyoo

* and yes, we have the obligatory photo of the besties, lol

🎥 of Bre outside on the sidewalk and in the grass were taken by Vi (the hype girls are Vi and Stella)
📸 All of the ones at my house were taken by Stella (just vibes all around)
🎥 of her on the football field were taken by her Dad and Uncle John

🥹🫶🏾 They’ve been besties since Pre-K y’all!! Giselle was having a hard day at school because she missed her Mom and Bre came to sit with her. They chatted, made each other laugh and have been best friends since. They pick each other up when the other is down. Show up for each other no matter what that looks like. Make each other laugh in any situation. Look after each other. Love each other. Just an absolutely beautiful friendship that I’ve been blessed to watch bloom.

Keep it up ladies. HS will bring a lot of twists and turns. Different groups of friends. Different interests. Different availability for each other. Don’t let that stop you from continuing to build your friendship/sistership. Send a quick text. A quick check in call. Stop by each other’s homes (it’s walking distance ladies, lol). Anything to keep you as strong as you are now. Love you ladies! 🫶🏾♾️😍

Y’all she did it!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Our girl is on her way to High School!!! I cannot even believe I’m even saying that because WHAT!?!?! 🥹🥹 Wasn’t she just at Salinas? Most of y’all have watched her grow up so you totally understand. 🫶🏾

The last 2 years (mainly the last year) have been really hard on her and difficult to maintain any sense of “normalcy”; however she would always show up and show out. She was STUCO Vice President and then STUCO President. Three of her classes give her HS credit and those are AP classes as well. Varsity Choir UIL 1st devision and Region 11 all region choir AND the Beacon of Leadership Award. She did all of this while maintaining A/B honor roll the entire year and obtaining her first job (babysitting)!

To say we are absolutely proud is an understatement. She’s grown so much, learned so much and reached and exceeded her goals for this year!

A HUGE thank you to all of the ones who have been there for her. To cheer for her. To show up to her concerts and ceremonies. To donate (some did under duress, lol) to her fundraisers and things for STUCO. To pick her up/drop her off at school if Kirk and I couldn’t. For checking in on her. For making her laugh. For loving her. For helping her with her confidence. For sowing into her. For praying for her. For laughing at her jokes that weren’t funny (y’all the real MVP’s). All the things. 🫶🏾

She is the baby of 4. She’s my last middle schooler. My last High School student. 🥺💕🫶🏾 My last baby to go through driving school (y’all she has been talking about this since her birthday last year, lol). I couldn’t be more excited and scared at the same time, but I look forward to walking this new and exciting road with you mama.

We love you babygirl!!! Continue to lead with grace, love, faith, compassion and strength. You are everything and more. Love you to the moon and back (🌕 & ⭐️). 💋💋💋

💐🫶🏾 Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing and strong mommas out there! I am truly grateful GOD chose me to be the mother of these three. They are my favorite people on this earth and my love for them at times scares me. I’m always afraid I’ll do something wrong and they’ll be disappointed in me (I logically know perfect parents don’t exist, but the thoughts still come), but my babies always hype me up in every way possible. I love you. I adore you. I’m proud of you. And I thank you. For continuing to push me to be the best Mom I can be. 🫶🏾 You’re the best!

Also, a BIG shoutout to my baby daddy @murray_kj because without you, I wouldn’t be a mother. 😉😘 Love ya boo! 💋💋
