The bright, vibrant colours of the beach can be found reflected in much of Murray’s pottery. Brilliant turquoises and sandy white glazes are paired with earthy oranges and bronze tones to create pieces which showcase his love of the sun, sand and water. @murrayfoxpottery #owensoundartistscoop #shoplocal #canadianpotters

There’s something a handmade ceramic or glass piece does to a space that nothing store-bought ever quite manages...

It has a presence.

The weight of a well-made mug in your hands.

The way light moves through glass on a windowsill.

A quiet, specific beauty that took someone a long time to learn how to make.

Swipe through to meet the ceramic and glass artists joining us this summer in the Haliburton Highlands, each one a dedicated Canadian artist, each one ready to talk about the work they love.

But that’s the thing about ceramic and glass work... it finds you.

Come see what finds you in July.

And ceramics and glass are just the beginning. 100 curated Canadian artists will be at Head Lake Park this summer, across jewellery, fibre, wood, painting, and more.

📍 Head Lake Park, Haliburton
⏰ July 24, 25, 26

$5 Weekend Pass. ☀️
Kids under 15 are free.

Advance tickets available at Rails End Gallery until July 20.

The 63rd Annual Haliburton Art & Craft Festival is presented by Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre a not-for-profit organization devoted to bringing art to life in Haliburton.

We just hit a massive milestone: 100 runs with the Spectrum Queer Run Club! 🥳

Seeing 36 of you show up to hit the trails today was the perfect way to celebrate how far we’ve come. What started as a small idea has grown into a vibrant, resilient, and diverse community. SQRC is far more than just a run club; it’s a space where every part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum is celebrated, one stride at a time. Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or just here for the community vibes, you belong here.

A huge shoutout to our incredible sponsors who provided prizes to make this 100th run extra special. We are so lucky to have local support that truly values inclusivity:

@camelliabakeshop
@cafeclementina_

@thegrovecafekw

Thank you to our host, @cafeclementina_ , for accommodating our massive group.

Thank you to everyone who has laced up with us over the last 100 sessions. Here’s to the next hundred, the many trails ahead, and the beautiful community we continue to build together. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃

SQRC IS HITTING 100! 🏳️‍🌈👟✨

We’ve officially been moving together for over two years, and it’s time to celebrate the Waterloo Region’s only 2SLGBTQIA+ run club hitting our 100th Run milestone!

Join us on March 8th starting at 9:20 AM at the Willow River Park Clock Tower for a community run or walk—everyone is welcome to move at their own pace! Afterward, we’re heading to Clementina Cafe at 10:15 AM for an 18+ social featuring limited edition 100th Run SQRC stickers and an incredible prize giveaway.

To win prizes from our amazing local partners like The Grove Cafe, Camellia Bake Shop, Runners Choice, Rommana Cafe, Calvin Kellendonk Pottery, and Murray Fox Pottery, you must participate in the morning move!

TICKETS & RSVP: Cafe capacity is limited, so this celebration is for those who have attended SQRC in the past. The Eventbrite link is private—if you’re a regular and need the link, ask a volunteer at our next meet-up! Once our regulars get tickets, we will open this celebration to new members looking to join the club.

Don't forget to RSVP on Strava for the run portion.

Let’s celebrate 100 runs of queer joy and community! 🏳️‍🌈🔥

Just sitting in the lap of luxury, drinking my chai and reading my Enquirer at the @waterloopotters annual show and sale.

All weekend long at Rim Park.

A little recap from a recent Raku firing at my parents farm in Arthur. It was a hot day, but I had the best group of pottery friends come out. Lots of laughs, good food and stunning pots. Building the community I have always envisioned. (Photo credits of the whole group)

So many of the artists at the Co-op are inspired by the places where they live. Featured here are Carol Norris, Rob Ball, and Murray Fox with pieces that are inspired by the sandy beaches and water in their art. @carolnorrisphotography @murrayfoxpottery #owensoundartistscoop #riverdistrictos #handmade #osartistscoop #shoplocal #ontariocraft #owensoundartist #georgianbaylandscape #ontariosummer
