For the Love of the Land - Installation Day!

About halfway through getting the main gallery works up - big thanks to @murraymoman for the help today.

Setting up each wall to represent a part of my journey as an artist and a traveller over the years.

Inuit Nunangat - Arctic is where I have travelled and gotten to know so many great people, their communities and their lands so it gets its own special place - as it has in my heart.

Artists Opening Reception will be Friday night as part of @firstfridayswinnipeg

Please join me and the team helping me out - @sunkissany @pamelaagatep @i_am_eyinjueledumare @pauline_.alary @mitchellthomasraymond as we open this exhibition with music and refreshments

Catalogue of works, dimensions and prices are on my website.

https://desmondraymondart.com/collections/

The main gallery will consist of 20 larger works from 2 feet by 2 feet up to 8 feet by 4 feet. My goal is to make my art accessible and a big part of that is pricing. Nothing is above $1250. This will be a chance to buy something small or something quite big at reasonable prices for those who like my work and for those pieces you connect with - no matter its size.

My studio will feature smaller works - 70 - but again at reasonable prices. Whether you are a collector or wanting to become one - you will be able to find something.

Art should give joy and should also be in reach of all. I plan to do this for my show and this work is an example of this.

Back in my studio/gallery today starting at 10:30am, so if looking for some art for yourself or someone else, something to do, view art or have a lesson DM me to set up a time to drop by.

And back in soon again for First Fridays @firstfridayswinnipeg

Enjoyed a delicious Pancetta-infused Bourbon Old Fashioned made with Maple Syrup in our hometown (Winnipeg) the other night 💕 .

With some amazing homemade Meatballs in the background 😂
