GRAVITY FALLS EXHIBITION

After so long, I am finally able to post about the gravity falls pop up that was at 📍Gallery Nucleus through September 26th- October 11th.

I went with my lovely friend @starofheaven0001 ! It was their birthday, so we chose to celebrate by going to see all of these gravity falls related art pieces. It was an honor to see the horrors of what Stan’s huge face in person, and the miniatures of the Mystery Shack. It brought a flow of memories, and unraveled a bunch of my own mysteries connected to this franchise. Like why didn’t we get more Lazy Susan episodes? And why it added onto my love for oddities and hauntings created by the real world. It all transferred back to my mind. Gravity Falls really allowed my imagination to be more realized and expressed through out my childhood. As a kid.. and now, I still believe monsters and other worldly creations exist. So when I watched this show as a kid, I truly believed every second of it and grew a bigger bond with monsters than I’ve ever had before.

To see many other people with the same interest and understanding be placed together in this small gallery was an honor! Some of the kids I ran into would constantly be curious about the small details in each drawing, or the monsters that are behind each piece. Adults did the same, but with more awe and a broader mindset. It almost brought my friend and I to intense tears. It was just so cute to see. Imagine a kid running around questioning every small thing about this show to their parents. It reminded me of my little self.

Just glad to see the mystery’s of this show still be unraveled, and be picked at bit by bit til this day. Shows that curiosity never dies, and neither did the cat.

What happened in AX Day 2? ☀️
Come on...check it out, it's GOOD stuff. 📸😁 @animeexpo @the_spja

✨️ Watching the Premiere Screening of the new Kyoto Animation (Kyoani) series, Sparks of Tommorow was such a refreshing, if not hilarious & heartwarming delight of the steampunk setting in old historical Kyoto. I absolutely loved being surrounded by the audience providing the most genuine reactions to the drama and comedy, along with the next level of animation for this studio after so long. It's a series to spark your attention after the 1st episode on Netflix! @gingerrootmusic was a great translator to the team & he did the ending song. Bonus: Signed shiki boards of their characters! Love it! Great experiencing the panel with Mary Ainza @murttburt, who is just as much a Kyoani fan as I!

✨️Attending 3 panels in one venue, the @peacock_theater, was an all-out experience for my second day. 🙌

The @crunchyroll Showcase felt like the biggest anime trailer reveals making its way to the big screen ever. So much excitement with the audience interactions & a surprising cosplay runway. @aleksle.vo making a surprise appearance with an 'Arise' greeting and announcement of the movie, Solo Leveling: Beyond The System was 100 out 10 surprise. Exciting to see the upcoming releases of Dengeki Daisy (read the manga back in the day), The Rise of the Shield Hero Season 5, & new original series, Fate Rewinder! 2027 let's gooo! 🔥

And the one I've been waiting for the most, the Kimetsu No Yaiba: Demon Slayer Infinity Castle celebration! It was a special time seeing the Japanese VAs of Tanjiro, Giyuu, & Shinobu (her first time here!) on stage.

They brought so many surprises from their live dubbing of iconic battle moments, a special illustration process from ink to color video, and an exclusive of the illustration of Giyu and Tanjiro to take home as a souvenir for memory. Seriously can't wait for Part 2! Streaming for Part 1 will finally be coming soon to Crunchyroll this month! Also, the next @ufotable_inc release, The Witch of the Holy Night will bring so much magical and mystical atmosphere from the Type/Moon Universe.
