“The night is darkest just before the dawn.” — The Dark Knight

Little setback Saturday. We move forward. We control our destiny as we pursue a playoff berth in our first season of professional soccer.

We know you’re with us! Let’s go!

The greatest story ever told, as narrated by KB. 🎬

We asked Fort Wayne FC players for random answers without telling them how they’d be used. Then we put them all into one story and handed it to Kabiru Gafar to read cold.

The result: literature — Mad Lib-style. 😂

Something we’ve noticed this season: We’ve had very expressive players.

Join us Saturday when we face Forward Madison at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium.

Here’s the latest. We play Saturday at the Charlotte Independence. Then we’re back home Oct. 3 against Forward Madison. We need your support down the home stretch of the regular season; with six matches left we are in the hunt for a playoff spot. What a year it’s been and there’s so much more to come. @fortwaynefc came back from a two goal deficit to tie things up late in the second half of their home matchup against FC Naples on Saturday night. Fans also were able to celebrate the birthday of Fort Wayne FC mascot, “Friendly", all at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium. 2-2

“The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.” - William Arthur Ward

Down 2-0 after 17 minutes.

We adjusted the sails.

Tiago Dias, 83’.
Ryan Becher, 90’.

A point earned the hard way.

We gave One Knoxville SC, the defending champions of USL League One, all they could handle — again. Didn’t get the win, but we got goals from James Musa and Ryan Becher and valuable experience in a high-stakes contest. We have seven matches remaining in our first pro regular season and we remain in the eighth and final playoff spot. We’re back at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium on Saturday.

James Musa draws first blood. He dons the captain's armband tonight. It is his first goal with the Autumn Gold & Black.
