Whew. What a ride it's been. Mark Antony, you beautiful bastard, it was a pleasure and a nightmare stepping into your stylish yet duplicitous shoes. These things never last the way they feel like they should. You work your ass off for months, praying for the day it's all over and you have a life again. Then suddenly it's opening and you're shittinf yourself backstage because you're about to do "Friends, Romans, Countrymen," in front of the public and you know ever white man in the house is going to be judging whether or not you should be up there. And then suddenly... you're done. And you're like...why didn't we run longer? And you look at the cost or rental space in Vancouver and you remember why. But damn.... I wish I could spend more hours, more weeks, more months making art with my team. They are the thing that make me proudest. The fact that I picked some good good humans. And they turned a nightmare into a dream. Until next time... Long Live, Hail Caesar! But also eat the rich and stuff.. 📷 @sotresjr_photography #juliuscaesar #shakespeare #vancouvertheatre #vancouveractor #closingreMARKs
