The FACE Ag Network was formed because we felt that important farmer voices were being left out of the conversation. Small and mid-sized pasture-based farmers across the country are feeding their communities while providing better lives for animals and stewarding their land and local environments. Yet the needs of these farmers are consistently overlooked by state and federal governments who choose instead to prop up and incentivize extractive, harmful industrial agriculture. If we are going to succeed in building a more humane, resilient and fair food system, independent farmers must be at the forefront. FACE is dedicated to making advocacy easier for farmers by supporting them in getting their stories out in the media and shared directly with lawmakers. FACE membership is free and there's never been a better time to join. Tag a farmer you think should be a part of FACE!

Day 2 of the SOLA Food Summit brought honest conversations, new connections, shared knowledge, and a room full of people committed to strengthening our local food system.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our first SOLA Food Summit possible.

🎤 To our speakers and panelists, including Chris Muse, Camila Correa, Shannon Gonsoulin, Nancy Williams, Joshua Boudreaux, Jennie Lallande, Chef Kelsey of Five Mile Eatery and all of our guests from the Center for Mississippi Food Systems, thank you for sharing your expertise and vision with us.

It was restored by 4 brothers, Allen, Burnell , Chris and Mittie.

The operation is located Greensburg, Louisiana in St. Helena Parish, which by the way, is known for its fertile soil.

This animal and vegetable farm uses organic practices to raise and sell beef cattle, goat meat, lamb, poultry, specifically chicken and eggs. They are at local markets and you can purchase and pick up from them on-farm, but they will ship for large orders.
