The passport stamps, speaking stages, conferences, adventures, and everyday moments. I want ALL of it! And I want the strength, energy, and clarity to keep enjoying life for decades to come.

Here’s the science behind it! 🔬
A 2024 study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition examined over 276,000 veterans and linked 8 healthy habits, including regular movement, nutritious eating, quality sleep, stress management, strong relationships, and avoiding harmful substances, to greater longevity.

Researchers estimated that women following all 8 habits at age 40 could have 20.5 MORE YEARS of life expectancy than those following none!
It’s an association, not a guarantee, but what a reminder that our choices matter!

After decades of training for PERFORMANCE, I’m now training for POSSIBILITY.

More adventures. More opportunities to lead. More memories with my boys. More LIFE in the years ahead!

At 55, I’m not leaving my future health entirely to chance. I’m actively investing in it.

Labor Day. A day traditionally dedicated to rest and relaxation.

So naturally, I took that very seriously.

Relaxation level: 0.
Labor level: Founder.

Started with a homemade cappuccino — because if this whole entrepreneur thing doesn’t work out, I apparently have a promising future as a barista.

Then:

👗 Models reviewed for an upcoming Yomisma shoot
🧵 New collection samples scrutinized
🐶 Puppy break
🎤 Practiced for tomorrow’s pitch competition
🔬 Emailed with our science team about textile efficacy certifications. Yay!! Passed all specifications🙌
😴 Double checked the communications and daily forms that the marketing team creates for the REST Study, which STARTS TONIGHT (!!)
💻 Interviewed potential new marketing team members
👚 Conducted said Zoom interviews in my preferred “Zoom mullet” — business on top, absolutely-not-business on the bottom
🐶 Another puppy break, obviously
📦 Fulfilled Wolf & Badger orders from our legacy collection
🪥 And finally remembered that personal grooming exists.

Next up: brush hair. Brush teeth. Go to bed.

And tonight, that last one feels particularly meaningful.

Because while I’m sleeping, 50 women across the country will be spending their first night sleeping in Yomisma as our 30-day REST Study officially begins.

There are days as a founder when you’re so deep in the details — the samples, science, emails, spreadsheets, interviews, shipping, pitching — that it’s easy to miss the bigger picture.

Tonight feels like one of those moments when I get to look up.

Something that started as an idea born from my own sleepless nights is now being put to the test by 50 real women.

That’s a pretty exciting way to end Labor Day.

Tomorrow, we pitch.

Tonight, we sleep. ❤️

💞 Some friendships aren’t measured by how often you see each other or how much time you get together. 💗

Saturday I could only stay for part of our time together, but it was still SO worth showing up.

We may all be in slightly different chapters of life, but the through lines remain the same.

Supporting one another. Leading with kindness and gratitude. Celebrating each other’s wins. And always learning something from one another.

I’ve learned that as life gets fuller, quality friendships become even more valuable.
Find the women who fill your cup, cheer you on, make you laugh, and remind you that even a little time together can mean a lot. 🙏🎉💕
