VICTORIA, Naarmean?
.
Apollo bay -
Had to get a good look at the place that produced one of the coolest chickies I know @r4tsalad 🖤
I skated the park to warm my bones till after dark
Found a sick pair of retro orange sunnies at the newsagents that slap so hard for $15
Slept in the forest by the river at a sneaky spot
Took a hike to see the view
.
Beech forest & Otway national park -
HEAVEN on earth
Who would have thought that Victoria’s climate could support a thriving, beautiful, overflowing rainforest!
Like jaw to the floor, Fucking stunning.
I experienced the kindness of strangers and slept under a heated blanket after a hot meal and a hot shower. We swapped travel stories and I was given what won’t be forgotten
.
Melbourne -
Oh god how I love you @megpacker
Finally I got to visit my little homie, hostess with the mostest & one of the most creative and talented women I know ➡️ @musingsofwhatever go get it 🖤

I arrived and the moon arrived with me
Art galleries and udon noodles 🍜
Op shops where everything is still $2 and finding the pink crochet poncho of my dreams 💕
Rooftop bars atop derelict architecture and stacked stories of vintage gold on the streets of Brunswick (where I splashed out on a gorgeous black leather tassel jacket eeep) 👽
Shaggy 70s fresh cut style, couch hangs, hot chai, hot water bottles and it never gets fully dark cause there’s so much light pollution 💥

Withitgirl Wednesday - Meg Packer (@musingsofwhatever)

“Hey, I’m Meg, the Artist behind Musings of Whatever. Originating from the serene landscapes of Albany, WA, and now flourishing amidst the vibrant cultural tapestry of Melbourne, VIC, I am on an exhilarating creative odyssey.

As a mixed media artist, I navigate the realms of expression with an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering commitment to exploration. My journey is fueled by a profound purpose—to expand the horizons of creativity, challenge conventional norms, and delve into the myriad facets of existentialism.

Rooted in a diverse array of mediums, including essays, prose, poetry, and visual art, my work invites viewers on a journey of introspection and discovery. Embracing the ethos of ‘whatever,’ I transcend the confines of traditional artistic boundaries, seamlessly blending mediums, styles, and perspectives. Through this organic fusion of acrylics, mixed media, and experimental techniques, I strive to ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity in the hearts of my audience.”

answering the call to the land brought me to my sisters & family beyond blood ::: showed me the sea heals me, never hurts me ::: realigned my path with one of responding to deep rooted calls that i (of course) will now answer as i am called again & again ::: a week of ancient remembrance that this conversation with divinity & one another flows onward & free ::: called in big magic & found myself alongside the most joyous, present, loving beings ::: singing over the seas & sands, in circular ceremony with hands held & hearts lit ~ what a blessing to be human & be together in these sways 👁 in every cell, these days are with me always now 🌬 mahalo 🌙
