DUVET festival run starts in October

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This summer was quite harder to let go, lots has happened and I could not keep up with digesting the idea that I got to embrace the last year of my 20s.... this won't be though a 'climbing rocky mountain path' I will embrace on my own.
Those past sunny 4 months showed me once and for all how I am surrounded by stellar, fabullous, fantastic, extremely talented and generous women in my life.

From raving in a random Hackney Canal spot, to a local abandoned forest, to partying hard in a lovely garden in West London to celebrate the 30th of my dearest @estherkehindeajayi who recently worked for 2 plays, a short film soundtrack and a sound installation in Scotland (sososo proud of you and fortunate to call you my friend), to swimming the ocean and search for a new meaning in grief, to 'carry the flame' for all the girls before me following their own perspective on how to be perceived in an environment that was built to be just not for them.

(Re-)found myself catwalking fiercely for 'Camp Miasma' premiere screening afterparty organised by the coolest in the biz @polyesterzine , dancing inside a corner shop/bodega/off license, drunkely karaoke-ing for @girlsinfilm 10th anniversary (might post videos when brave enough), jumping in awe for the most gagging pride I have ever been too - only thanks the most vibrant drag & trans queens' performances I've ever witnessed.

Experiencing all this female gazed beauty
felt like the most glamorous fever dream
and I'll definitely keep on carrying that feeling with me for the rest of the year, or even longer...

Female Gaze Summer per Eternity

Edinburgh Fringe 2026
This is the earliest I’ve ever left, and tbh, it’s nice to have a bit of FOMO.
So proud of my work, and the phenomenal performers I get to work with.

Directed and co-created BOYKING @thepleasance @not.little.wenker
Directed DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL @summerhallarts @jessistitclown

Consulted @jordanbrookescomedy, @rosalieminnitt & KANPUR @niallmoorjani @naughtycabaret
Go see them all. Unbiased, full bias but unbiased, they’re all brilliant.

Also thanks to my lovely partner @b_malcolm_ for making @not.little.wenker & I the best throne!!! 👑👑👑

Edinburgh OUT, see you again in 2027.
